Before going to Lance & Dave we open up with highlights from this past Monday Night at the Coliseum focussing on "Superstar" Bill Dundee abandoning his partner Marcus Bagwell and aligning with the Dangerous Alliance. We then cut to Lance & Dave in the studio.
Our announcers fill us in on Dundee's turn, calling it shocking and down right uncalled for. Bill Dundee will be here today on this program to answer the question that's on everyone's mind "WHY?" It was a huge Monday Night at the Coliseum and a ton of fall out is expected and we've got FOOTAGE to show from the event but first here's a run down of what's in store this morning:
Big Ron Harris will be in singles action.
The debut of the Stud Stable.
TV5 Championship is on the line as Marcus Bagwell defends against Wolfie D.
The duo of Jeff Jarrett & Tracy Smothers are in the house.
The Spellbinder will be in action!
Big Ron Harris will be in singles action!
Special Attraction Tag Action see's USWA Tag Team Champions The Fantasics face off against the Black Hearts in NON-title action!
And in our TV Main Event "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol faces off against the "Bird Man" Koko B. Ware!
We're taking a break, but when we return we're talking to the King himself Jerry Lawler!
Commercial Break
We're back and before we get to the King we've got a run down of this Monday's huge Coliseum Show! Remember as always fans a 7PM bell time:
Main Event
6 Man Action as Jerry Lawler, Marcus Bagwell & The Spellbinder face the Dangerous Alliance trio of Terry Taylor, Greg Valentine & "the Superstar" Bill Dundee!
A Special Grudge Match will pit "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol against former partner in crime "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert!
USWA Heavyweight Title is on the line as Terry Funk defends against USWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion: Brian Christopher!
NON-Title Action will see our very own USWA Tag Team Champions: The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) face off against NWA World Tag Team Champions: The Steiners Brothers (Rick & Scott)
The debut of Too Cold Scorpio as he faces the man from the Orient the Crimson Dragon!
Battle of the big men as Daryl Van Horne's monster Doomsday faces off against "Big" Ron Harris.
And in our opener Jeff Jarrett & Tracy Smothers team up to face the duo of New Jack & Wolfie D!
We're then treated to footage from this past Monday as Jerry "the King" Lawler was victorious over Bam Bam Bigelow in a grueling Dog Collar Match. We get the aftermath highlights complete with handshake and Bigelow destroying Tony Rumble to a nice reaction.
Lance Russell: " A man with a ton to talk about for sure after this past Monday Night, ladies and gentlemen, 'The King' Jerry Lawler! "
King's out to a nice reception, Lance gets right into things.
Lance Russell: " First things first King, we saw the footage from this past Monday Night and congratulations are certainly in order after your victory over Bam Bam Bigelow in that grueling Dog Collar Match... "
Jerry Lawler: " Thanks Lance, but the real story is Bammer and myself coming to an understanding and letting bygones be bygones. Did you see him kick Tony Rumble to the curb? Talk about coming to your senses right there. Now Bammer has gone and moved on from the area, and wherever he turns up he's bound to make an impact but he knows if he should ever return he's got a friend in the King! "
Lance Russell: " That wasn't the 'only' happening this past Monday Night... "
Jerry Lawler: " That's just what I wanted to get into, I wanted to address a few on goings here, as well it was quite the Monday Night at the Coliseum that's for sure. Eddie Gilbert, well he's opted to take a stand against Austin Idol and the Dangerous Alliance. From what I understand he's on his way to the building today, but I've gotta make this clear whatever goes on between the Alliance & Eddie Gilbert, well Eddie's on his own. Sure I'm one to forgive and forget, but NOT when it comes to 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert. When it comes to Eddie Gilbert, I flat out don't trust the guy. He's the one who brought Paul E. and company in here in the first place, and I can't forget that and I sure as hell can't forgive him for doing so..."
Lance Russell: " While we're on the subject of the Dangerous Alliance, Bill Dundee, a friend of yours for sure, shocked the world when he turned his back on Marcus Bagwell this past Monday Night and well I guess you can say took the spot left open from Eddie Gilbert's departure in the Dangerous Alliance..."
Jerry Lawler: " Can't say I'm surprised. Lance I know exactly what comes next, and that's why I've taking a pro-active approach. Bill Dundee's going to point a finger this way, each and every time Dundee goes off his rocker he's quick to place the blame on me. I know it, you know it, these people here know it. SO here's what I'm going to do, fact is it's about high time I get back into the thick of things when it comes to running the Dangerous Alliance out of town, I mean at the end of the day their goal here is to, well take me out of the equation all together. SO with that being said, this Monday Night at the Coliseum I'll be teaming with Marcus Bagwell & the Spellbinder against Bill Dundee, Terry Taylor & the Hammer. I've had quite a few conversations with Marcus since Monday Night, and well from here on out we're joined at the hip. See he's the one that's been most effected by this, he trusted Dundee as not just a partner and a friend, but a mentor, and Dundee up and stabbed him in the back. I've got his back from here on out, and he's got mine. So Dangerous Alliance, Paul E. and company be on the look out, 'cause now that this thing with Bam Bam Bigelow is behind me, the KING is picking things up RIGHT where we left off! "
Lance Russell: " There you have it fans, the King is as focussed as ever on the Dangerous Alliance! "
We then head to the ring for "Big" Ron Harris in action!
"Big" Ron Harris defeated Johnny Rotten with a big boot/legdrop combo at just 2:18.
Harris joins Lance for some quick comments about Doomsday and this Monday Night!
"Big" Ron Harris: " Daryl Van Horne, boy you listen and you listen real good. I ain't EVER BEEN SCARED of a fight, 'cause I ain't scared of NO MAN! And that's JUST what Doomsday is, HE'S A MAN just like you and I, now he may of beaten my brother, but he ain't gonna beat me... and even IF he does, IT AIN'T GONNA BE EASY! MONDAY NIGHT's A LONG TIME COMING! "
Lance thanks Ron and all that jazz before taking us to pre-recorded words from Doomsday and his manager Daryl Van Horne!
[VTR]
The cheesy green screen/graphics read the Disciples despite the fact that well that groups long gone but here's Van Horne with the monster known as Doomsday.
Daryl Van Horne: " Don Harris, Ron Harris, Koko B. Ware... you can even send the King himself, none of it matters to the super natural force known as Doomsday... just another victim... just another causality in the war, the war against humanity... "
Van Horne laughs as Doomsday nods his head in approval.
[END VTR]
Clip of Ron scoring with the legdrop takes us to...
Commercial Break
We're back and it's to pre-recorded words from the Gangstas, no wait before we can get to that we're interrupted by PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY & "SUPERSTAR" BILL DUNDEE!
Lance Russell: " I wanna hear from Bill..."
Paul E. Dangerously: " In due time Lance... calm down.... I'd like to take this time to address Eddie Gilbert. Eddie if you're home right now, thinking about hoping in your car and coming on down to the studio, DON'T. Just give up, this isn't Paul E. the manger talking to you right here and now, but YOUR BEST FRIEND PAUL giving you a heads up. Asking you to just QUIT while you're a head, because well, if you DO show up here, or if YOU DO show up Monday Night to face Austin Idol, YOUR GETTING THROWN TO THE WOLVES. The Dangerous Alliance can only tolerate so much, and right now after what YOU pulled this Monday Night costing Austin Idol here the USWA Heavyweight championship, they're OUT FOR BLOOD! "
Lance Russell: " A stern warning, it's safe to say Eddie Gilbert is on an island onto himself these days, but ENOUGH about Eddie I wanna hear from 'the Superstar'..."
A smiling Dundee interjects...
"Superstar" Bill Dundee: " Oh you want to hear from me, where were you last week? Oh that's right I wasn't giving an interview time on this show last week now was I. "
Lance Russell: " You didn't have a match..."
Bill Dundee: " Ain't that the truth. A lot of people are asking Why Superstar, why? So I take it that's your question..."
Lance Russell: " You owe these people an explanation! "
Bill Dundee: "FINE... here's the thing Paul E. approached me with the idea of joining up with the Dangerous Alliance MONTHS ago behind closed doors, but I was naive and I told him point blank where to stick it..."
Paul E.: " Water under the bridge..."
Bill Dundee: " I liked the idea, you see me and the King we ain't always been close, everyone here knows that. We've gone back and forth with this whole thing for years, best friends, bitter enemies, we've done it all... BUT as open to the idea of a USWA without the King I was, I just couldn't bring myself to team up with a hot headed fool like 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert. SO after LAST Monday Night when Idol & Eddie had their words I got on the phone to Paul E. and let him know that if EDDIE's OUT then I'm in. 'Cause as close as me and the King have become, I KNOW this place is BETTER OFF without him..."
Lance Russell: " Oh come on... and that has something to do with you turning your back on Marcus Bagwell & these fans? "
Bill Dundee: " Marcus, oh you mean the PUNK KID who's walking around here with MY TV title? He had his chance to be on a winning team, he chose the people over the Dangerous Alliance, that ain't my fault. I had to MAKE an impact, and show these FINE gentlemen here that I was committed to the 'cause, I HAD NO CHOICE. But I have a choice now, and Marcus you can damn sure bet I'm gunning for MY TV5 Championship when push comes to shove!"
Lance Russell: " What about the people? "
Bill Dundee: " What have they ever done for me anyway? Only person these people care about is the King, everyone knows that. Been a long time since 'the Superstar' was a priority to not only the fans, but to EVERYONE in the USWA... well that's all about to change here and now Lance. 'Cause with the Dangerous Alliance backing me up, I can't lose! "
And NOW we're getting the pre-recorded comments from the Gangstas.
[VTR]
And it's behind a cheesy background that reads "Gangstas", we've only got three of them as their generic thugs aren't here for this pre-tape, just New Jack, Mustafa & Wolfie D.
New Jack: " I should be surprised, but here I am via pretape 'cause Eddie Marlin, Eddie Marlin don't wanna here no truths... It's all good 'cause I ain't here to spit poison, I'm here for answers. Monday Night, Mid South Coliseum... it ain't gonna be me and Mustafa busting up Jeff Jarrett & that flag waiving *BLEEP* Tracy Smothers, see that would be easy.... we done know how that'd turn out.. instead Eddie Marlin done tossed a curve ball in our direction... and that's... YOU! "
Jack surprises Wolfie D by getting in his face, Wolfie looks nervous stating "What?"
New Jack: " Me and you... Jarrett & Smothers... what are YOU GONNA DO BOY? ALL THIS... ALL THIS... Mustafa, the crew, it's ALL 'CAUSE OF YOU BOY... and I HOPE YOU AIN'T HAVING NO SECOND THOUGHTS... What are YOU GONNA DO when YOU AIN'T GOT NO CHOICE but to beat the *BLEEP* out of yer boy TRACY? You ain't tagging out, I AIN'T LETTING YAH... Yah still down? EH WOLFIE, YOU LISTENING TO ME BOY... YOU STILL DOWN? YAH BEST PROVE IT THIS MONDAY NIGHT! "
Jack walks off, a laughing Mustafa stops and mockingly says to a confused looking Wolfie..
Mustafa: " *snickering* NOW THAT'S WHATS UP! "
[END VTR]
And with that we're just about ready for our TV5 Championship bout BUT FIRST we've got the champion: Marcus Alexander Bagwell at the interview set! Lance gets right to it, the subject at hand is of course "Superstar" Bill Dundee.
Marcus Bagwell: " Truth is I've never felt this foolish in all my life Lance. I feel like a real sucker for buying into everything Bill Dundee was selling. I looked up to him as a friend and as a mentor, I was there ready to learn, and well looks like he changed the lesson plan. Bill Dundee you say this is your belt (holds up the TV title) well I've got a defense against Wolfie D, BUT I've got an OPEN CARD next week so if you think this is yours, well then COME ON AND GET IT! "
Lance Russell: " Well ALRIGHT now that's a challenge! Speaking of challenges Monday Night your teaming with the Spellbinder & the King Jerry Lawler in the main event at the Coliseum against the Dangerous Alliance trio of Terry Taylor, Greg Valentine & of course Bill Dundee!"
Marcus Alexander: " Well I'm fortunate to have guys like Jerry Lawler & the Spellbinder watching my back from here on out, just like I've got theres. See the Alliance keeps making enemy after enemy, so their end is JUST AROUND THE CORNER!"
Lance wishes Marcus well as we head to the ring for our TV5 Championship match!
TV5 Champion Marcus Alexander Bagwell retained over Wolfie D at 8:59 via pinfall after the fisherman's suplex.
Notes: Wolfie does have the Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa) out with him initially. Unfortunately they get caught interfering one too many times leading to Paul Neighbors sending both men to the back. So there goes the numbers game. Wolfie holds his on for a bit, but misses a Stinger style splash in the corner, Marcus reacts quickly scoring with his trademark fisherman's suplex picking up the hard fought victory.
Clip of Bagwell hitting the fisherman's suplex with a caption reading "UP NEXT ROBERT FULLER SPEAKS..."

[END VTR]
Back to the studio and to Lance over at the interview set.
Lance Russell: " Talk about a surprise, Robert Fuller what brings you back to the USWA? "
Robert Fuller: " Well Mr. Russell I'm afraid I've got some bad news to report. Y'ah see the 'Tennessee Stud' well I ain't as young as I used to be, I ain't in the kind of shape I once was, I've done taking far to much abuse and punishment in this here business. So I'm afraid I'm out here today on Championship 'Rasslin, well to announce right here and now that 'ol Robert Fuller's days as an in ring competitor, well they're done Lance. "
Lance Russell: " At what a tremendous career it's been, a successful one to say the very least. "
Robert Fuller: " Well I say, I say I've done just as much as a local Tenesee boy could, done hold titles all around the world Mr. Russell... but it's time to move along. NOW just because I can't get it done in a pair of boots, don't mean I'm finished. When one door closes, another one goes on and swings wide open. Yah' see I'm proud to announce to ya'll that the Stud Stable is BACK in operation. I've already signed two of the top talents the USWA has to offer Lance, and I'm sure these people ain't gonna like what I'm selling (wipes himself with his trademark hanky) but that ain't no concern of mine. My concern is doing the best for these young men I'm representing from here on out..."
Lance Russell: " Just who are you referring to..."
Robert Fuller: " Well I'm gonna bring them on out here one at a time Russell.. first from the great state of Nevada, the man with an Ace of his sleeve, ladies and gentlemen a rookie with a whole lotta hustle, the first member of the Stud Stable... I present to ya'll THE GAMBLER! "
Gambler's out to boo's of course, doing a stupid card trick.
Lance Russell: " Not a whole lotta wins for this Gambler here..."
Robert Fuller: " Well I'm gonna change all that, ya'h see he just lacks guidance, you might not think much of 'em, but I say, I say in due time he'll be holding some gold here in the USWA! NEXT UP, now this one's a steal Lance, I paid good money for this kid. After watching him take it to Jerry's kid Jeff, why I just had to have 'em... I'm gonna build this whole stable around this kid, he's the future you see.. I give you the reigning and defending USWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion, and the NEXT USWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.... BRIAN CHRISTOPHER! "
Lance Russell: " Well Brian does have perhaps the biggest match of his career this Monday Night against Terry Funk for the USWA Heavyweight title. "
Robert Fuller: " And that's why he's signed up with the Stud Stable yah see.."
A puts his arm around Brian as he arrives...
Robert Fuller: " Look at this kid, he's got it all... good looks, title belt, why he's gonna have another one after Monday Night. "
Lance Russell: " We'll just have to wait and see about that, Terry Funk is after all one of the toughest men in the sport.."
Brian Christopher: " What's that 'pose to mean Lance?! He's tough, but he's a few cards short (looks over at the Gambler) of a full deck, I'm smarter, I'm younger, I'm in better shape... I've got an AWESOME music video! I've beaten EVERY JR. HEAVYWEIGHT that Eddie Marlin's sent my way and NOW I've got one of the greatest to ever enter this sport in my corner. I'm UNBEATABLE!"
Robert Fuller: " I say kid, you're after my heart for sure... this is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship Brian... Stick with me and yah' gonna have it all, I'm talking cars, boats, women, & title belts. Terry Funk's a tough hombre, but Brian Christopher kid, you're the FUTURE of this business. Why I'd even go as far as to say in due time ya'll be the next dare I, I say dare I say Tennessee Stud! Now let's go on to that ring and show these CHUMPS what we're working with boys! "
A cackling Christopher & A shuffling Gambler head to the ring for tag team action with a proud Robert Fuller right behind them.
The Stud Stable (Brian Christopher & The Gambler) w/ Robert Fuller defeated David Young & Chris Hamrick when Christopher pinned Young with the Superkick in 2:28.
We're about to be joined by the USWA Heavyweight Champion: Terry Funk BUT FIRST we're taking back to highlights from this past Monday Night as Terry Funk defended his title against "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol. The focus is on the finish with "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert running in and attacking AUSTIN IDOL of all people for the disqualification. Our announcers sell the idea of Eddie Gilbert showing up here this morning.
Lance introduces the USWA Heavyweight Champion: Terry Funk to the interview set.
Terry Funk: " Why hello Lancey.... so much to talk about these days. So many things happening in the USWA. I've been hugging people left and right Lancey, but it don't make them any less genuine. Billy Dundee's taking my hugs for granted and he's gone on a head and joined the other team. I'm a little disappointed, but if ya're with the Dangerous Alliance well you ain't no friend of mine... Eddie Gilbert, he's on his way here ain't he? "
Lance Russell: " That's the word going around the studio at least..."
Terry Funk: " Well he ain't no friend of mine either, but I can't lie when he attacked Austin Idol Monday Night, why I couldn't help but smile. Then there's Brian Christopher, good kid gone bad and all that, he's got the biggest match of his career Monday Night, so what does he do? He goes on and joins up with Robert Fuller. Now me and Bobby ain't really crossed paths before, but he's a tough cookie an all that, but I ain't scared one bit. Yah see Lancey, it's BRIAN's biggest match of his career, NOT MINE. I've seen what he's done in that their Jr. heavyweight division, can't say he's not a damn fine champion, but he ain't in my league. See I've done what I've done, WITHOUT anyones help. I ain't claiming to be no saint, but Brian Christopher's been ranking up cheap win after CHEAP win, and ya'h ain't pulling that kind of stuff with little 'ol me. Ya'h wanna fight dirty Brian, just go on ahead and ask Eddie Gilbert how that turns out. "
Lance Russell: " Should be quite the interesting encounter.."
Terry Funk: " Why yes it will be Lancey, you know why? 'Cause for ONCE someone else is stepping up instead of the Dangerous Alliance. Now I KNOW Austin Idol, Terry Taylor, Bill Dundee and heck even Greg Valentine ain't done with me yet, but hey it's nice to take a break and mix it up with SOMEONE outside, even if at the end of the day it's just another piece of low life scum like Brian Christopher..."
We're headed BACK to the ring for the SPELLBINDER in action!
The Spellbinder defeated TD Steel via pinfall off a spinwheel kick in 1:15.
We're taking a break when we return it's one of our featured bouts as the Fantastics take on the Black Hearts in NON-title action!
Commercial Break
We're back and before we catch up with the Fantastics we're taking to pre-recorded comments from the NWA World Tag Team Champions: The Steiner Brothers!
[VTR]
And it's the Steiner Brothers standing behind a backdrop that reads "NWA WORLD CHAMPS: STEINER BOYS" so yeah that happened.
Scott Steiner: " Fantastics LISTEN UP... two things me and my brother can't stand, PRETTY BOYS & REDNECKS, SO WE AIN'T exactly HAPPY about coming to Memphis, and we sure as HELL ain't happy about fighting YOU TWO PRETTY BOYS again, AND WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU IS A WHOLE LOTTA HURT! TELL 'EM RICK..."
Rick Steiner: " I... I... dunno I kind of, I... I don't mind Memphis... I kinda like it.."
Scott Steiner: " WELL I GOTTA ENOUGH HATE FOR THE BOTH OF US BROTHER! FANTASTICS WE'RE COMING FOR YOU! "
[END VTR]
The Fantastics join up with Lance for a rebuttal!
Tommy Rogers: " Steiners, you sure have a lot to say about these people and about us... "
Lance Russell: " Well Scotty does that's for sure..."
Tommy Rogers: " I KNOW you boys can back it up, but us? Well we've got the people on our side and we're more driven then every before. Beating you guys isn't something we WANT to do, it's something we HAVE to do! We've been chasing the World Tag Team Titles for over 5 years, and we ain't stopping till we're wearing them around our waist. So Monday Night it's PUT UP OR SHUT UP TIME BOYS!"
RING THE BELL DAVEY it's time for our featured match!
The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) defeated the Black Hearts (Apocalypse & Destruction) in a NON-title match when Fulton pinned Destruction off a small package at 11:51.
Notes: No Van Horne with the Black Hearts, name doesn't even come up on commentary. Awesome little TV match here that told quite the story. Mid way thru the contest Paul E. Dangerously leads "Terrific" Terry Taylor & Greg "the Hammer" Valentine out to ringside to scout. They surprisingly don't get involved until the bitter end. Rogers & Apocalypse are brawling on the floor as Fulton takes it to Destruction in the ring. Rogers dodges a charging Apocalypse sending him crashing into the ring post! He then ends up in an argument with Taylor on the floor. Their little shoving match that follows ends up distracting Fulton for a second and he's rolled up inside the ring for two. Fulton in side the ring pops up and squares with a savat kick quickly following up with a small package. MEANWHILE on the outside Valentine STRIKES from behind clipping the knee of Tommy Rogers! Fulton picks up the win in the ring as the heels double up on his partner with Paul E. guiding them on the floor!
Post Match- Futlon quickly makes it to the outside to protect his partner, and Paul E. calls the heels off as Lance screams for help as per the standard for post match attacks here on Championship Wrestling. The heels back off, with Paul E. letting Fulton know that they could have just as easily attacked him just the same. A message has been sent by the No. 1 contenders here today on Championship Wrestling!
Clip of the Hammer taking out the knee of Tommy Rogers takes us to break!
Commercial Break
We're back and it's to brief highlights of what occurred just before the break. The question is, is Tommy Rogers at 100% for this Monday Night's non-title match against the Steiner Brothers?
With that we head to the ring for more great tag team action!
"Simply Irresistible" Jeff Jarrett & "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers defeated The Crimson Dragon & The Yellow Jacket when the Yellow Jacket was pinned off Smothers Jawjacker at 2:15.
Tracy & Jeff join Lance for some comments about Monday Night's match against Wolfie D & New Jack.
Tracy Smothers: " Wolfie D I've got no idea what's gotten into you kid, but let me just say this I'm a firm believer and tough love, and what that means to me this Monday Night well it's real simple... I ain't above tossing you the beating of a life time if it means ya'll see the light... it ain't about what's up, ya here me Wolfie, it's about WHAT's RIGHT! Tell 'em Jeff! "
Jeff Jarrett: " The Gangstas are as tough as they come, but they've disrespected the South and my grand daddy one two many times to get off scott free. New Jack, you've run your mouth each and every week... how you're from the streets and you ain't no 'rassler, well this IS PRO RASSLIN', this is the USWA, the staple of the NWA, you can take that street cred crap and shove it straight up your... well you know where... Monday Night I'm gonna out 'rassle you, I'm gonna out fight you.. this is a LONG time coming! "
And with that Lance wraps it up and sends us to Corey Maclin with a run down of Monday's huge Coliseum card!
Clip of Smothers hitting the jawbreaker with the caption "IT's the BirdMan & the Idol in OUR MAIN EVENT when we return!"
Commercial Break
And we're headed right to the ring for our huge main event!
TV Main Event "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol w/ Paul E. Dangerously defeated Koko B. Ware via pinfall off the swinging neckbreaker at 7:51.
Notes: Truth be told although it didn't go on that long this one was actually quite competitive. Koko was in completely control with more than a few hope spots and all that jazz. He makes the mistake of lowering his head, and Idol acts quick scoring with his trademark swinging neckbreaker and earning the clean victory as he heads into Monday Night presumably against Eddie Gilbert, but Gilbert hasn't shown up yet here tonight. Our announcers speculate during the bout that perhaps Gilbert has heard Paul E's warning and up and left town?
A winded Idol & Paul E. join Lance after the win...
Austin Idol: " Well how bout that, Eddie Gilbert has made his choice daddy.. he ain't here... he ain't coming to the Coliseum Monday Night.. he's YELLOW, you hear me, YELLOW! He KNOWS he can't beat the Universal Heartthrob..."
Lance Russell: " Wait just a minute, wait a minute here... get a camera outside we've got something going on outside..."
Lance, Paul & Idol huddle around a monitor as well IT'S HOT STUFF EDDIE GILBERT armed with a crowbar, standing in front of Austin Idol's prized Harley Davidson! Idol lets out a cry " HE'S DONE LOST HIS MIND" and looks to make an attempt to get to the parking lot... Eddie however has other plans..
Eddie Gilbert: " Paul E, Austin Idol, BEFORE YOU TWO RALLY UP THE TROOPS AND HEAD ON OUT HERE, JUST KNOW THE SECOND THAT YA'LL STEP FOOT IN THE PARKING LOT, THE BIKE GETS IT, SO JUST STAY PUT AND LISTEN UP! The Dangerous Alliance was SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT ONE MAN, ABOUT ONE THING... ME, ME, ME! I WANTED THE CAPE AND CROWN, AND THAT'S THE ONLY REASON WHY I BROUGHT YOU ALONG FOR THE RIDE! BUT THAT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR IDOL.. YOU WANTED IT ALL FOR YOURSELF.. WELL I BROUGHT THE ALLIANCE TOGETHER, AND NOW.... NOW I'M GOING TO BE THE ONE TO TAKE IT OUT... AND IT STARTS RIGHT HERE WITH THIS HERE BIKE... "
WHAMO!! GILBERT GOES TO TOWN ON THE BIKE... IDOL & PAUL E quickly exit the scene, in the parking lot they are joined by THE HAMMER & TAYLOR! A CRAZED GILBERT see's them making their way, IDOL SHOUTING LIKE A MAD MAN the entire time... GILBERT takes off running, to a car waiting for him, WHO's the driver? WHO KNOWS but Gilbert gets in and takes off as Idol chases it a bit before turning his attention to his prized, now broken Harley Davidson! Paul E tries to comfort him as we head to break
Commercial Break
Idol's back at the podium, LIVID!
Austin Idol: " EDDIE GILBERT, THE TIME FOR TALKING JIVE IS OVER AND DONE WITH BOY, MONDAY NIGHT YOU'RE LITTLE STAND WILL BE YOUR LAST STAND DADDY! "
Idol storms off and it's WRAP UP TIME fans!
Our opening bout saw "Big" Ron Harris pick up a win over Johnny Rotten with that big legdrop of his at just 2:18. Marcus Bagwell retained his TV5 Championship over Wolfie D in a hard fought in counter with the fisherman's suplex at 8:59. Robert Fuller lead the Stud Stable duo of USWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion: Brian Christopher & The Gambler to victory over David Young & Chris Hamrick, time on that one was just 2:28. Spellbinder made quick work over TD Steele after a spin wheel kick at just 1:15. Featured Match saw USWA Tag Team Champions The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) turn back the challenge of The Black Hearts (Apocalypse & Destruction) when Destruction was pinned off a Fulton small package at 11:51. Tracy Smothers & Jeff Jarrett with an easy win over The Crimson Dragon & The Yellow Jacket when the Yellow Jacket took the fall off the jawjacker at 2:15. And in our main event, Austin Idol with a hard fought victory over Koko Ware at 7:51 off a neckbreaker!
Lance Russell: " For Corey Maclin & Dave Brown, I'm Lance Russell and we'll see you at the matches!
