1. Single Match. 1-fall 15-minute time limit. Jimmy Jack Funk pinned Steve Blackman with the scoop powerslam at the 8:41 mark. JJF took it too the younger Blackman who started out on offnse early but evidentally fell to the more-experienced , rougher veteran.
2. Single Match. 1-fall 15-minute time limit. Masa Chono brought down Steven Dane with Kenka Kick for the victory at the 7:12 mark. Chano is a fabulous wrestler not only in the states but his homeland Japan. Dane tried to rough it up but the Japanese star took none of it and dished it right back to the bigger, blonde opponent.
3. Single Match. 1-fall 15-minute time limit. Honky Tonk Man w/Peggy Sue pulled out a close win over Mexican superstar El Canek at the 14:43 mark. An unpopular result for the Mexican fans in the audience. Canek is a legandary techo wrestler. Canek had Honky on the mat most of the match with the HTM using Peggy Sue in the ring corner for a definite distraction. With official Dennis Stamps distracted by Peggy Sue, Honky delivered a low blow and followed with the Shake-Rattle-and-Roll for the victory.
4. Ladies Single Match. 1-fall 15-minute time limit. Southwest ladies champ Wendi Richter used the bulldog to put away Allison Royal for the win at the 10:55 mark. Royal is up-and-coming but Richter had too much experience for the youngster and gave Allison a wrestling lesson before getting the victory.
--15-minute intermmission--
5. Grudge Match. '1-fall 30-minute time limit. Dangerous' Dan Spivey scored a big non-title win over Southwest Heavyweight Champ Dory Funk Jr. at the 15:15 mark. Spivey appeared inspired even though the match was non-title, going after the champ from the start of the bell. Junior is one of the greatest defensive grapplers of all time and he showed it. But the younger and bigger challenger was too much tonight and used the one shoulder powerbomb on the champ for the 1-2-3 and win.
6. Non-title Four Man Tag Team Match. 1-fall 60-minute time limit. The Masked Texas Hangmen score a non-title win over the Southwest Tag Team Champs Demolition (Crush & Smash) with mgr. Paul Ellering. A rough-and-tough match from the start. The Hangmen worked on Smash pretty good as Ellering stayed on referee Stamps the entire match. A double-team move by Demolition backfired as Hamrman Psycho nailed Smash with a big elbow off the second turnbuckle for the pin.
7. Southwest Junior Heavyweight Title Match. 1-fall 60-minute time limit. (Champ): Blue Demo Jr. by disq. over (Chall): 'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal. The partisan Mexican crowd got on Regal's nerves as the champ outmanuvered the challenger time after time. Frustrated, 'Mr. Electricity' went to the short cuts but couldn't score a pin. Finally, Regal threw Blue Demon Jr. over the top rope in frustartion and was disqualified. The champ returned to the ring and launched an attack on the challenger and sent him running back to the dressing room.
