So yeah, I lost the first half of my show, so we're getting a cliff notes version this week.
"Why can't we be friends?"
Championship Wrestling
Saturday Morning July 7th, 1992
TV5 Studios Memphis Tenesee[/u]
[/center]
Show opens up with highlights from 2 Mondays ago with Jerry Lawler using the fireball on Bam Bam Bigelow. It then clips to Lawler & Chris Candido's actions after defeating the PitBulls from this past Monday focusing on Candido piledriving Tony Rumble. This brings us to pre-recorded words from Rumble & Bigelow. Rumble is sporting a neckbrace, Bigelow has his back to the camera. Rumble reveals that Candido should have looked before he leaped, 'cause his contract is with Tony & not the USWA so he's traded him to the UWF! Bigelow promises to end Lawler's career when he returns after revealing his face (covered in bandages of course).
Lance & Dave run down what we'll see on the show before heading to break.
Commercial Break
Jerry "the King" Lalwer defeated new comer The Gambler via pinfall after a second rope fist drop at 1:01.
Lance with the King after the match. We talk about Candido, with Lawler putting over the UWF, wishing Chris but just wished the kid had a choice in the matter. King gives the whole "I've been down this road" routine in regards to Bigelow before he's interupted by USWA Heavyweight Champion: Terry Funk. The jist is Funk asks Lawler to be his partner alongside Marcus Bagwell & "Superstar" Bill Dundee against the Dangerous Alliance this Monday. They both make it a point to state that they'll always be bad blood between the two. King says he'll think about it, as he's been burnt by Funk in the past.
Commercial Break
The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa) w/ Wolfie D & company defeated Shaun Summers & Chris Hamrick when Jack pinned Summers off a running powerslam/diving headbutt combo at 2:11.
Lance catches up to them post match, as Jack has promised to be on his best behavior of course. Monday they've got Koko B. Ware & Spellbinder but the interview barely gets into that. Jack on good behaviour doesn't last long as the attack on Koko comes up. He neither confirms or denys it, but states that the punishment confirms something, EDDIE MARLIN IS A BIGGOT! He states that to Marlin " All us color folks look a line". This leads to Marlin storming out and demanding we go to commercial, during which we cut to..
Commercial Break
Koko B. Ware made a successful return defeating David Young with the Ghostbuster at 3:15.
Lance with Koko after the match. Pretty much him asking Marlin not to take actions against the Gangstas after what just went down, as he and his buddy the Spellbinder will take care of 'em Monday Night.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Bobby Knight via pinfall off a second rope dropkick at 2:25.
Jarrett catches up with Lance after the match, and we're shown highlights of Jeff winning the USWA Jr. Heavyweight title only to have it overturned. Jeff says it's his top priority now, even though it wasn't until Brian brought it to his attention. Speaking of Brian Christopher he interrupts! After some back and forth with Jarrett, Brian declares it's time for his MUSIC VIDEO!
After it airs Brian doesn't understand why the crowd is booing him MORE than before. Jarrett asks if Brian's on something. They go back and forth a bit (verbally), with Brian backing down and turning to leave.. BUT YEAH it's a fake and he lays Jarrett out with a superkick. Brian gets in the KO'd Jarrett's face showing off the belt, as Lance scolds him.
Commercial Break
Clips of Austin Idol going the distance with the NWA World Champion Ricky Steamboat are shown. Lance & Dave state that Eddie Marlin is working on signing a rematch in the near future.
The Dangerous Alliance: Terry Taylor, Austin Idol, Eddie Gilbert & Greg Valentine are lead out to the interview set by Paul E. Dangerously. Paul E. brags about Idol, Taylor & Valentine. He starts to brag about Eddie, but Lance is there to remind him that Eddie came up short against Terry Funk yet again this past Monday. Gilbert's all wound up over this of course. Talk turns to Lawler, Paul E. isn't concerned about the King. NO WAY is he taking Funk up on his offer as there is NO FREAKING WAY they can co-exist. Lance is all "We'll just see about that" and now it's time for Taylor to defend his TV5 Championship!
Marcus Alexander Bagwell defeated "Terrific" Terry Taylor to win the TV5 Championship after interference from "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert backfired leading to a roll up from Bagwell at 9:30.
After the match Gilbert storms off, but the rest of the DA (Valentine & Idol) hit the ring to double up on Bagwell. Bill Dundee & Terry Funk are out to chase them off. Bagwell gives an interview thanking Dundee for all his help.
Commercial Break
It's announced that Jarrett & Brian will once again tangle for the Jr. Heavyweight title this Monday Night.
Clips of USWA Tag Team Champions The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) challenging for the NWA World Titles against the Steiners are shown. Focusing on Scott's attitude of course, and the somewhat controversial low blow finish.
Lance is then joined by the Fantastics. They don't know what's gotten into Scotty, but quite frankly they don't care. All they want is ONE MORE match so they can prove to the world that they can get it done. The Blackhearts come up in conversation as the Fantastics will be defending against the mysterious duo this Monday. Bobby & Tommy have been impressed with them, but aren't worried 'cause they've got the crowd behind them and all that jazz.
The Black Hearts (Apocalypse & Destruction) w/ Daryl Van Horne defeated The Yellow Jackets (# 1 & #2) when Destruction pinned one of the Jackets off their unique superbomb finish at 3:09.
Van Horne & the Black Hearts join Lance after the match. The interview really isn't about the Hearts but about Doomsday. See Marlin is forcing Doomsday to wrestle his first match this Monday against Don Harris, if he fails to do so the Black Hearts match with the Fantastics will be non-title. Van Horne says although Doomsday normally doesn't play by the rules of mortal men, now is as good a time as any for his true power to finally be revealed.
Commercial Break
TV Main Event: NON-title Expiration Of Time: Terry Funk defeated Billy Joe Travis off a DDT (fall one) & the spinning toe hold (fall two) at 11:45.
Real story is in the post match as the DA strike again, this time with Eddie in there. Dundee & Bagwell are out for the save, but the numbers play a factor. Of course here comes Jerry "the King" Lawler. To help out and send the heels packing. Interview follows, where King fully commits to being the fourth man this Monday. Funk pats him on the back, leading to an awkward and tense moment.
Commercial Break
We wrap up the show then go to Corey with a run down for Monday's Coliseum Show:
Main Event 4 on 4 Tag Team Action: The Dangerous Alliance (Taylor, Idol, Gilbert & Valentine) face off against the star studded team of Terry Funk, Jerry Lawler, Bill Dundee & Marcus Bagwell!
USWA Tag Titles are up for grabs as the Fantastics defends against the Blackhearts!
Brian Christopher once again puts the USWA Jr. Heavyweight Championship at stake against "Simply Irresistible" Jeff Jarrett!
Doomsday makes his debut against Don Harris of the Bruise Brothers!
The Spellbinder & Koko B. Ware mix it up with rivals The Gangstas!
Ron Harris sees singles action against Billy Joe Travis.
& in our opener the Gambler battles Chris Hamrick.
