NWA Rep Billy Anderson comes to the ring with a Mic.

BA:" Welcome everybody to Christmas Beating our first Christmas show. Tonight we will have a 8 man tournament to crown our first champion California Heavyweight Champion. I would like the eight men to come to the ring. Chris Jericho, Apolo Dantes, Eddie Guerrero, Erik Watts, Christopher Daniels, Blue Demon Jr, Shocker, Mike Golden. Jericho V Watts, Daniels V Blue Demon Jr, Dantes v Golden, Guerrero v Shocker. Lets get to the ring for the first match."

First Round Match

Lionheart Chris Jericho defeats Erik Watts via pinfall. Jericho wins a close match with a Lionsault.

Blue Demon Jr defeats Christopher Daniels via submission. Demon Jr wins with a single leg Boston Crab.

Eddie Guerrero defeats The Shocker via pinfall. Eddie wins with a Gory Special on Shocker.

Apolo Dantes defeats Mike Golden via pinfall. Apolo wins with Northern Lights Suplex.

Intermission

Semi-Finals

Eddie Guerrero defeats Chris Jericho via pinfall. This was a great match. After a couple of near falls, Guerrero wins with a roll-up with his foot on the ropes.

Blue Demon Jr defeats Apolo Dantes via pinfall. This was a little slower paced match. Dantes going for a Northern lights, but out of noware Jr hits a Demon Crushed for the win.

Other Match

The True Midnights( Stan Lane & Dennis Condrey) defeats Tim Patterson & Vance Nevada via pinfall. The Midnights make quick work of the makeshift team. They win with a double Flapjack on Nevada.

Finals

Eddie Guerrero defeats Blue Demon Jr via pinfall. Guerrero and Jr save there best for last. Guerrero wins the match with a Gory Special.

This is small show, when I go Tv the show will be bigger.

I believe that is a tournament that would have resonated with the fans. Couldn't go wrong with either Eddie or Blue Demon as your champion.

With those two and the likes of real talents in Jericho, your young guys should thrive in this environment.

As for your TV being "bigger", it doesn't really have to be because you don't need to have 8 matches per episode.
