Tony Schiavone: WCW Saturday Night is on the air! Hello wrestling fans, I'm Tony Schiavone, joined by Scotty Flamingo, and tonight in this hour, we will take you back to Monday Nitro on TNT. Hulk Hogan was there, The Black Scorpion struck, and after attacking Hogan voluntarily unmasked, and you may be shocked to find out who was underneath the mask. Still some questions left to be answered like why as we head towards this Monday, and only 8 days left until Starrcade from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Scotty Flamingo: What I'm looking forward to tonight is Johnny B. Badd in action. Monday he disposed of that old gas bag Dusty Rhodes, and it's only a matter of time until he does the same to Dustin.
Tony Schiavone: Also tonight, tag team action in our main event when The Nasty Boys take on 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell. A lot riding on the outcome of that match.
Scotty Flamingo: Is there? I don't think The Hollywood Blonds have much to worry about. You've got the original mamma's boy and a guy who'd rather dance around, and they've got The Nancy Boys tonight. Neither of these teams ever posed much of a threat to my men, and while The Blonds don't have the managerial expertise of a Scotty Flamingo, they are still pretty good. Better than either of these 2 poor excuses for a tag team.
Tony Schiavone: If memory serves me right, didn't 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell beat your team for the titles?
Scotty Flamingo: Memory serves you wrong because they didn't beat them, they cheated them. You know, I don't even know why I'm here! Why I'm watching these 2 teams, these 4 criminals, wrestle out here. Maybe I'll do a silent protest in that match so people know that I'd rather see neither of them on this broadcast.
Tony Schiavone: 1 can only hope. And speaking of tag teams, when we come back, a team that certainly has The Hollywood Blonds on their minds, The Road Warriors will join us. Stay with us, we'll be right back with all the action tonight, on WCW Saturday Night.

WCW TV champion Lord Steven Regal and Jean Paul Levesque are out to talk about their match this Monday with Larry Zbyszko and Shane Douglas. Levesque tells viewers that the win by Zbyszko this past Monday over him was as Americans call it, a fluke, and there is no way he could ever repeat that. But he intends to put his focus onto Shane Douglas so his mentor can have Zbyszko all to himself. Regal continues by saying that he is not threatened by the challenge of Zbyszko and he has 1 huge flaw, his mouth does too much talking that he will not be able to back up in the ring. Come Monday on Nitro though, like all Americans, Zbyszko and Douglas will fall before their superiority.
Match #1
The Road Warriors defeated Frankie Lancaster and Chris Sullivan when Hawk pinned Lancaster after the Doomsday Device. The commentators put over the WCW Tag Team Title match at Starrcade as the best tag team of the 80s against so far, the best tag team of the 90s (even if realistically a tremendous reach). Given their last meeting saw The Road Warriors win at the August Clash of Champions, but Flamingo notes than The Blonds have avenged several losses in the last couple months and it could go either way.
-- Second commercial break --
Shane Douglas is interviewed about the tag team match this coming Monday on Nitro. Douglas tells viewers that he is 100% behind Larry Zbyszko and hopes to see both Steven Regal and Jean Paul Levesque fall, and Zbyszko to bring the TV Title back to America where it belongs. Asked about Ric Flair's challenge of Rick Rude's World Title, Douglas says that while he may not be a Horseman in training anymore, but he hopes that Flair wins the match and the championship because with this being the 10th anniversary of Starrcade, how fitting would it be to end with the same man winning the World championship as the first event?
Match #2
Johnny B. Badd defeated Scott Armstrong via pinfall after a moonsault. Flamingo says he has an exclusive that the move is called the "Baddsault". Armstrong was looking to avenge what Badd did to his father Bob on Nitro a couple weeks back, but wound up just becoming a victim himself. Dustin Rhodes has the chance that many are looking for when he takes on Badd at Starrcade in 8 days time.

Match #3
Ice Train defeated Mark Kyle via pinfall after a scoop powerslam. Easy win, and while still the reigning WCW U.S. champion, the Train is without the physical belt, having been stolen by Diamond Dallas Page. Train has the chance to get it back at Starrcade, but could also lose it for good, plus this Monday on Nitro will go head on against Max Muscle in a Strongest Arm contest.

The Nasty Boys and 2 Cold Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell fought to a double count out. Both teams were brawling around the ring, neither made it back in before the 10.
