Tony Schiavone: WCW Saturday Night is on the air! Hello wrestling fans, I'm Tony Schiavone, alongside Jesse The Body Ventura, ready to bring you all the best in professional wrestling, right here tonight on TBS. We'll also be going back to this past Monday on Nitro where there was a bombshell dropped between Sting and J.J. Dillon, perhaps you could even say 2, both with the possibility that they could change WCW forever.
Jesse Ventura: I don't know what to think with all that Tony. I do know where Sting's coming from though when my movie Demolition Man comes out and barely gets a mention, but then Mr. Nanny gets pulled to no end out here. Of course in the end, which movie was #1? But that's another issue for another time. The point is Schiavone, WCW has a set way of doing things and I think they want to see Hulk Hogan show up, just not against Sting like J.J. Dillon said. But they might not have a choice come this Monday on Nitro.
Tony Schiavone: Indeed they may not. Also tonight, the King of Cable continues Jesse. So far we have seen Lord Steven Regal advance, as well as both Dustin Rhodes and Brad Armstrong on Nitro. Tonight it will be Johnny B. Badd going 1 on 1 with Jean Paul Levesque. The Badd man against the French aristocrat.
Jesse Ventura: And if you're Lord Steven, you're gonna be watching this 1 real closely. On 1 hand, you get the man that fought you tooth and nail all year in Johnny B. Badd, but on the other, who knows him better than his own protege, this Levesque guy? Either way it's a win for us and a loss for him, unless of course, they both get eliminated and he ends up with a bye. Ha, and wouldn't that be something Tony?
Tony Schiavone: It could very well happen. In addition tonight, Ron Simmons is here in action. The Saturday Night debut of Tex Slazenger and his mystery partner. When we come back though, Shane Douglas is here, plus a word from The Natural Dustin Rhodes. Stay tuned, a big night ahead, here on WCW Saturday Night.
-- First commercial break --
The Natural Dustin Rhodes is interviewed about his upcoming match this Monday in Nitro in the King of Cable tournament. Rhodes tells viewers that when they tune in this coming Monday on Nitro, they will get a classic wrestling match with him against Brad Armstrong and the stakes are high. He hopes that he gets the Brad Armstrong of old, but with him lately, you never know, and especially with that "witch" Toni Adams on the outside. They want to be the King and Queen of Cable out here, but just like his father is the American Dream, he is going to follow in his footsteps and do this for the common man out there. The viewers of WCW that might not be all about champagne and caviar, and show them that anybody, no matter if they are the son of the son of a plumber, anybody can be a king.
Match #1
Shane Douglas defeated The Gambler via pinfall after a Belly to Belly Suplex. A week after being ousted from the King of Cable, Douglas returns with an easy win here in the opening match. Douglas made no bones about it on Monday's Nitro that he wants a shot at Lord Steven Regal and the WCW TV Title, even saying that he would go through Jean Paul Levesque to get there. Jesse Ventura thinks that Douglas is out to prove to all the doubters since his training to be a Horseman fizzled through no fault of his own, and winning the TV Title could do just that. Although save a month or 2 where he dropped the belt to 2 Cold Scorpio, Regal has had that belt going on 9 months now and that will be a task easier said than done.
-- Second commercial break --
The Nasty Boys are interviewed about a match this coming Monday on Nitro against The Hollywood Blonds. Saggs tells the viewers that they beat The Blonds pillar to post and just because they went out and got Col. Robert Parker will not make any difference come match time because he is outside the ring, they are inside. Knobbs adds that Parker might be sneaky, but they are nasty and The Blonds have shown weakness before to them, so they know exactly what to do to come out on top and move towards the WCW Tag Team Title, and making 1994 the year of The Nasty Boys in WCW because they are as nasty as they wanna be.
Match #2
Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce defeated Mark Starr and Joey Maggs when Slazenger pinned Maggs after an inverted DDT. Jesse Ventura gets the "scoop" on the introductions by revealing the name of Pierce for the first time, and then going on to but the tag team "The Texicans". They look impressive in this, their debut match on WCW programming as a tag team, but how will they fare when they have to face the big Ice Train after what they did to him. Tony Schiavone wonders what brought Slazenger back to the company after being ousted by Train back in May in the underdog challenge, while Jesse Ventura says that he intends to get to the bottom of that and find out with his investigative journalism.

CLASH OF CHAMPIONS CONTROL CENTER
- Eric Bischoff is standing by for the third installment. The event takes place live on TBS on Thanksgiving night, Thursday November 28 at 8:05 eastern from The Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. The main event is set to see Ravishing Rick Rude defend the World Title against Rowdy Roddy Piper in a Steel Cage match, following Piper's non title win at the Havoc. In the co main event, Sting and Cactus Jack team up to take on WCW champion Big Van Vader and The Black Scorpion, following recent attacks on Sting by the unknown masked man. The Road Warriors will battle Harlem Heat to settle that rivalry once and for all. Announced tonight is a rematch from Monday's Nitro for the WCW Tag Team Title as 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell defend once more against former champions Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit. And as learned this past Monday on Nitro, The Nature Boy Ric Flair puts his career on the line in an I Quit match against Barry Windham, where if Flair quits, he has vowed to quit WCW. The winner of the match becomes #1 contender to the World Title held by the winner of the Piper vs Rude Steel Cage match. More matches to be announced in the weeks to come. The Clash of Champions, live on TBS. Don't miss it!
Match #3
Ron Simmons defeated Scott Armstrong via pinfall after a lifting spinebuster slam. Armstrong gets in some offense, but not enough to overcome the former WCW champion. The commentators put over Simmons strong, who seems to have been remotivated following the loss to Ice Train at Halloween Havoc, maybe with the intention of coming back to challenge him again. Tony Schiavone mentions the apparent dissolution between him and Harlem Heat over recent weeks, but Jesse Ventura says that he has it on good authority that not only are the 2 sides still working together, but that he thinks somebody will eventually find that out the hard way. Maybe even The Road Warriors at the Clash of Champions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Scotty Flamingo is interviewed about the announcement that his tag team of Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit will receive another shot at the WCW Tag Team Title at the Clash of Champions. Flamingo tells viewers that he had to pester the WCW offices for this, but legal mumbo jumbo came through in the end. While his team was guaranteed a rematch, the Computer Contenders Challenge match on Nitro was a completely different beast all together, and so WCW had no choice but to give Eaton and Benoit the opportunity that they deserve. He does not intend to stop there though because he wants a match with 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell right here next week on WCW Saturday Night because while they will take the titles at the Clash, this match is just for fun should they accept.

Match #4
Johnny B. Badd defeated Jean Paul Levesque via pinfall after a sunset flip from the top rope. This was a first round King of Cable tournament match to determine who would face Lord Steven Regal in the semi finals next week. Pretty even split in this 1 with Levesque getting a lot of offense in building to his Indian Deathlock submission, but Badd's experience edge just proving to be too much. Despite not taking the win with the Kiss That Don't Miss, Badd would catch Levesque by leaping off of the top rope to surprise Levesque with a sunset flip and the 3 count. This means that Badd will advance to take on Lord Steven Regal next week in the King of Cable semi final, winner of that to meet the winner of the match this Monday on Nitro between Dustin Rhodes and Brad Armstrong, at the Clash of Champions on Thanksgiving on TBS.
Lord Steven Regal is interviewed about what just transpired and now having to face Johnny B. Badd in the King of Cable next week on Saturday Night. Regal tells viewers that history has a way of repeating itself and much in the same way his ancestory more adequately prepares him to be king than anybody else, he has the TV Title to this day that he took away from Badd back in February of this year, despite Badd making numerous attempts to take it back unsuccessfully. Speaking of the TV Title, talk turns towards Shane Douglas' challenge, with Regal laughing it off as he defeated Douglas a week ago by countout and anybody that was a protege of a man like Arn Anderson should probably follow in his footsteps and just walk away. Needless to say, touching upon that sensitive subject brings Douglas out, ready for a fight. Officials are out there as Douglas tries to get at Regal, but no luck tonight, although it does seem they would be headed for another showdown in the future.
Tony Schiavone closes the show by reminding viewers to tune this coming Monday for Nitro on TNT at 8pm eastern, and to come back next week at 6:05 for more WCW on Saturday Night with Johnny B. Badd vs Lord Steven Regal in a semi final King of Cable tournament match, as well as to see if the challenge laid down by Scotty Flamingo for next week's show gets accepted. Until then, so long!
