Hmph. The yellow stripe painting seems like a scene reserved for television. Might makes its way onto your programming anyhow though, so that's all fine & well. Adds a simple but neat element to your main event scene, which COULD look to add a new face by the name of Chris Jericho soon enough. The win over Odell puts a pretty big notch on his record (in this promotion) right away.
Is this the Renegade of WCW infamy?
Interesting to see Ravishing Ray and Plowboy taking matches around the loop already, PRIOR to their advertised deal for Thanksgiving Throwdown. Ironing out the kinks & getting accustomed, I'd assume.

The stripe painting ... stay tuned for my next TV. Odell/Jericho ... yeah, wanted to give Chris a nice win over one of the "top program" guys. My plans for Chris are not to thrust him into the top spot based on his talent right away because honestly, he'd be the top guy for a long, long time here with most of these guys. I want to keep him at the top with storylines and sort of as a special attraction. With his looks, the hope is the demographic of young Oklahoma girls want to see "Rockstar" Chris. This is NOT the Renegade of WCW fame. Slated for one of my i pieces down the road, this guy has been kept off TV and bigger shows for a purpose. Came into the business in 1991, he was billed as The Original Renegade, running from what I can tell as a cowboy gimmick. Not the biggest guy at 6' and 238 lbs, has been a staple of Oklahoma-based promotions his entire career. Based on his look minus the hat, here in MEW, we're going with a Native American gimmick. Plowboy/Ravishing Ray ... Might have jumped the gun on them but the thinking was this - Rush Springs with a population of 1,278 (as of 2000) would have more than likely been a small turnout and very likely an even smaller showing for the Lawton show. Why not let the pair work out he kinks for the bigger show?

Ahh. Thanks for the clarification. Always appreciate a little insight into a lot of this lesser known stuff, amigo.
