From ringside ...
Tony Schiavone: From the heart of Georgia, in the heart of WCW country!, this is Monday Nitro, live on TNT! 2 hours of the best professional wrestling ready to come your way. I'm Tony Schiavone, alongside the 1 and only Living Legend Larry Zbyszko, and Legend, what a night we have tonight. It was just 1 week ago that we saw WCW commissioner J.J. Dillon give Sting the ultimatum, either wrestle Yoshi Kwan or you can walk. Sting took on Kwan, only to end up in another trap from The Black Scorpion. Sting is here tonight, J.J. Dillon is here tonight, and this situation is only going to continue heating up.
Larry Zbyszko: This is a classic instance of the game known as human chess. 2 sides, both with a lot of power in different ways. 2 sides, both with an agenda. 1 to get a match with Hulk Hogan for Starrcade, and the other to do his job. Can the match get signed? Hopefully for all of our sake, the answer to that, is yes. I know that I for 1 would love to see the dream match of wrestling fans for the 1990s.
Tony Schiavone: But Legend, we know that is what Sting wants, but is that what Hogan wants? That is of course the major hold up right now. But looking in the present, looking to tonight, it's the end of The Hollywood Blonds. Tonight in our hour #1 main event, Flying Brian against Stunning Steve, a lot of tension there. Also tonight, the start of a new concept called the Computer Challenger Series. Each Monday over the month of November, a champion of WCW will have to defend his title. Not according to the rankings, but instead according to the processing output of an Amiga 4000 computer from Commodore, the perfect computer for home use and available now at computer stores everywhere. Tonight, Ravishing Rick Rude and his World championship under the jurisdiction of WCW International. We know that regardless, it will be Rude and Rowdy Roddy Piper at the Clash of the Champions inside a Steel Cage, but whether or not it is for the title depends on tonight.
Larry Zbyszko: And here we have it. WCW, at the forefront of professional wrestling, now at the forefront of technological innovation. This right here could be the future of wrestling. No bias, no seedy promoters, just wins and losses inputted along with a healthy dose of the processing power of a Commodore computer. I don't know all the details of how this is figured out, but I am looking forward to it. Especially when it's at the expense of Rick Rude.
Tony Schiavone: And right now to announce the computer's output, we'd like to welcome ...
Fans give a mixed reaction.
Tony Schiavone: We'd like to welcome the WCW commissioner J.J. Dillon. Can you first explain the process to anybody that may have missed it last week?
J.J. Dillon: Thank you Tony, and I'd be glad to. What we have done is take all the wrestlers in the back. Their heights, their weights, their wins, their losses, I mean pretty much everything is there short of what they ate for breakfast. The information gets standardized and weighted, and then we put it into the Amiga super computer that we have, and it does the rest. It was pretty amazing to see it at work because I can tell you that this was fast. What takes a committee hours, days even, of deliberation to figure out, this computer does in a matter of minutes. Let me tell you Tony, if computers can work this fast, that Amiga may just take a job or 2 at some point. Of course, computers could never replace the wrestlers themselves in the ring.
Larry Zbyszko: Or the broadcasters at the table for that matter. You will always need that human element.
Tony Schiavone: Walk us through the results then. Who will be facing Rick Rude tonight, here on Nitro?
J.J. Dillon: It was very interesting Tony. Some names I didn't expect to see towards the top of that list. When taking into account factors like height and weight as well as wins and losses to get the perfect challenger, you see halves of tag teams showing up, friends of the champion, just really odd things. As for the results, I can tell you now that the man that will challenge Rick Rude tonight is a very deserving challenger. It was about 2 months ago at Fall Brawl that he was cheated out of a win, unable to get a rematch for 50 days due to the contract, and as luck would have it for him, the 50 days are up effective today. I'm talking of course about The Natural Dustin Rhodes.
Larry Zbyszko: Whoa! That's big Tony.
Tony Schiavone: Indeed it is. So tonight, it will be Dustin Rhodes against Rick Rude for the World title, what a match that'll be!
J.J. Dillon: I'm looking forward to it. I mean you wanna talk about a match that these fans want, this is it. Nobody can ever accuse WCW of not giving the fans what they want. No wrestler in the back at least. We give the fans what they want, and we give them what they deserve. Every wrestler in the back is fair game, and ...
Storming from the back to interrupt this.
Tony Schiavone: Wait a minute.
Johnny B. Badd: What is this? I have a question. Did or did I not beat Dustin Rhodes at Halloween Havoc? I won his title shot. What is this? That shot should be mine.
J.J. Dillon: This was decided by computers. You'll get your shot in due time.
Johnny B. Badd: Due time? What does that mean? I deserve a shot and I deserve it tonight. I should have been wrestling Rick Rude at the Halloween Havoc, but no. I have to go out and prove myself. I do that, and what do I get? Passed up for a computer? Are you serious? And then you give Roddy Piper the next shot at the Clash of the Champions? What about me J.J.? What about Johnny B. Badd? You talk about what fans wanna see, this is it. If you ask me, WCW's dropping the ball again. You need to stop letting computers do your job and start doing what the fans want.
J.J. Dillon: Hey! This is what the fans want! They want cutting edge concepts. Look, you'll get your shot! None of this has anything to do with you! Roddy Piper beat Rick Rude fair and square at Halloween Havoc, something you never did. That's what the fans want! You just keep doing what you're doing and I can assure you that you will get your shot at the title, whether it's Rick Rude, Dustin Rhodes, heck, even Roddy Piper! We are about making the matches that fans want to see!
Needless to say, all this talk about the matches fant want to see brings out 1 man to a huge pop, only noticed as he steps into the camera shot.
Tony Schiavone: Hold on a minute! Sting! Sting is here!
Sting: J.J. Let me tell you something. You want to talk about what the fans want to see, let's talk Starrcade J.J. Let's talk Starrcade, and let's talk me and Hulk Hogan. It's not rocket science J.J. I want it, the fans want it, Hogan wants it. And while you're at it, give the fans me and that no good snake Brother Brutus tonight! I know he's The Black Scorpion, and I know he's out to get me no matter what you say. You want to do something for the fans, do that!
Johnny B. Badd: Hold on here. Just what do you think you're doing? I was in the middle of something out here, and you wanna interrupt me? Let me tell you something Sting. You know why people call you and Hulk Hogan a dream match? It's because it's never gonna happen. Wake up. You're being consumed by a man that doesn't even work for WCW, a Black Scorpion. Maybe if you'd been worrying more about WCW and its fans, you'd have beat Vader at Halloween Havoc when you had the chance! I mean if we're talking reality out here, only 1 of us was a winner at Halloween Havoc, and it was me. Stop hogging the spotlight and let me have my time, my title shot that I deserve!
Sting: You want the spotlight? Well it seems to me you're not getting your chance tonight, I'm not gonna be getting mine, so what do you say we give these fans a match I know they'd want to see? I can't imagine anything these fans would want to see more than me shutting your mouth out here once and for all. Sting, Johnny B. Badd, Monday Nitro, let's do it!
J.J. Dillon: Now wait a minute Sting. You're not the match maker out here. But I'm willing to book the match if Mr. B. Badd accepts because unlike somebody else, he is a WCW employee and that is a match I can sign.
Badd acknowledges and accepts the match. Sting lets out an "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" to get fans hyped before walking away.
J.J. Dillon: Alright then. Tonight, here on Nitro later tonight, Sting and Johnny B. Badd. What a night, huh guys?
Tony Schiavone: Big night indeed, and we're about to kick it off with our opening match so let's get up to the ring for that.

6 man tag team action with a lot of heated tensions coming at play here. The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat have been going back and forth for weeks, but this match also gives Ice Train a chance at Harlem Heat after they seemingly attacked his mentor Thunderbolt Patterson 2 weeks ago. Train also gets an opportunity at Tex Slazenger, the man who attacked him last week on Nitro. It was back in May on Nitro in the underdog challenge that Train defeated Slazenger, and it now seems as though Slazenger is back for revenge, having fought his way into WCW the old fashion way, beating people up to get his spot on the roster that way. Train immediately wants Slazenger to start the match, and he gets his wish. Train dominates early on, leading Slazenger to tag out to Stevie Ray. Train will take this match up too, although Stevie wants Animal. Train takes it to Stevie early and then tags in Animal with the advantage. Animal works him over, before tagging in Hawk. They seem to have the match in hand when Booker T catches Hawk coming off the ropes with a kick to the back of the head. He takes a tag, enters and hits a bicycle kick to take down Hawk, followed by a 2 count. Slazenger enters and gets to display some offense before Hawk ducks and then connects with a clothesline and tags the big Train back in. Right hand for Slazenger, right hand for Booker, right hand for Stevie. The Road Warriors come back and brawl with Harlem Heat out to the floor. The 2 tag teams start to brawl away as Train has Slazenger in control. Suddenly from out of nowhere comes ...
... somebody? (without a mask at that, no larger unmasked photos available that are not as a pig farmer or southern businessman, and I see no need to mask him) Whoever he is, he is attacking Ice Train from behind, using a cowbell on a bullrope that Slazenger brought to the ring with him. Slazenger gets up and the 2 start double teaming Train, and it does not take long before the Einstein commentary crowd pieces together than the 2 are dressed alike and probably associated. That said, they have no idea who the second man is, just that Train is becoming the victim here tonight. Security is out, additional referees. Slazenger and associate back down, exiting to the outside. Larry Zbyszko asks where this man came from, adding that he should be arrested if he came through the crowd. Tony Schiavone answers that he is not sure, although they were so focused on the action in the match and The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat brawling, they could have easily missed his arrival. If Slazenger does have an associate on the WCW roster, they could be in trouble.
-- First commercial break --
Tony Schiavone: Welcome back to WCW Monday Nitro, live on TNT. In case you're just joining us, a heated opening segment just a few moments ago. J.J. Dillon coming out to announce that it will be The Natural Dustin Rhodes challenging Ravishing Rick Rude tonight in the Computer Contenders Challenge, Johnny B. Badd stepping out and saying hold up a minute. He defeated Rhodes at Halloween Havoc, Dillon defended the method, leading to Sting coming out upon comments of what the fans want. Badd took exception to Sting's interruption and now tonight, we also have Sting against Badd, 1 on 1.
Larry Zbyszko: You know, coming off an event like Halloween Havoc, and heading into Starrcade, the biggest wrestling event of the year anywhere, you've got tempers starting to flare up out here. Johnny B. Badd wants that title shot, Sting is having problems of his own, they cross paths, and there you go. In the ring tonight. If Badd wins, that would be the biggest win of his career by far, and Sting is prime for defeat with these recent problems with The Black Scorpion and his focus being on Hulk Hogan.
Tony Schiavone: And we still have no idea who The Black Scorpion is. Sting alleging that it is Brother Brutus, but it could be anybody. It would make sense, but his guess is really as good as anybody's. Also as mentioned, Dustin Rhodes and Rick Rude later tonight, the World title on the line.
Larry Zbyszko: Dustin Rhodes came close at Fall Brawl and as many will recall, he was the man that ended Rude's near record U.S. title reign back in April. Can lightning strike twice here tonight?
Tony Schiavone: Joining us right now is that man, The Natural Dustin Rhodes. Big match later.
Dustin Rhodes: Big opportunity, and you know, I thought just like everybody else, my chance was gone. So for that, I'm extremely greatful out here to have my chance. Rest assured Johnny B. Badd, you beat me at Halloween Havoc, I won't deny you. If I do win that title tonight, you'll be getting the first shot.
Larry Zbyszko: First though, you have to defeat Rude. Easier said than done.
Dustin Rhodes: You and I both know what kind of snake that Rick Rude can be out here. What that man will do to get the win. But tonight I have another opportunity. When he won that United States title and held onto it for a year and a half, it was me that put an end to it. It was me that pinned his shoulders to the mat. My knee might not be 100% after Halloween Havoc, but I'm still here. I'm still fighting. It put me down that night and kept me out of the ring for a week afterward, but now I'm back and ready to go. The computer never lies, and tonight it chose me as the best man for the job. I don't plan on disappointing.
Tony Schiavone: Alright, Dustin Rhodes! Later tonight, he challenges for the World title. Right now let's head back to David Penzer as we get to the ring for more action, here on Monday Nitro.

The Lone Wolf Barry Windham has been tearing up the WCW rankings in recent weeks. Losing the New Japan Greatest 18 championship during an overseas tour seems to have reignited a spark under Windham, seeing a close match with Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc that ended on a DQ when Flair struck the referee. The issue between those 2 is far from settled and a challenge was laid last week but Windham wants ramifications in a rematch before it gets signed to give him the incentive to get back in there after technically winning the last match. That will not stop him tonight though as his opponent is half of The Cole Twins, Kent Cole. Always capable of the upset, Windham is cautious in this match, knowing what could happen. Cole does get a close count early on with surprise school boy, but Windham kicks out and heads to the outside of the ring to regroup. Once the match resumes, it does not take Windham long to get control and look to finish Cole off after a lariat. Rather than cover, Windham woulds instead lock in the iron claw. Cole submitted rather quickly and the referee called for the bell. Larry Zbyszko on commentary called Windham's iron claw 1 of the more dangerous additions by any wrestler to their move set in a long time. Tony Schiavone responded that it could come down to the iron claw vs Flair's Figure 4 Leglock if they do have a rematch.
-- Second commercial break --
Tony Schiavone: Welcome back to Monday Nitro, live on TNT. Before the break, Barry Windham with a win, and later tonight we will hear from The Nature Boy Ric Flair in regards to Windham's comments on Saturday Night. Essentially saying put up or get lost. Also tonight, main event of hour #1 in just a bit, Flying Brian Pillman and Stunning Steve Austin, the battle of The Hollywood Blonds. That team is history and each of them looking to start out in the singles ranks on the winning path tonight. Also, as we've heard, Sting and Johnny B. Badd, Dustin Rhodes and Rick Rude for the World title, plus our first match in the King of Cable tournament when The Z Man takes on Brad Armstrong.
Larry Zbyszko: Big opportunity for The Z Man. Not only in the King of Cable tournament, but after what Brad Armstrong did to him last week. Made him look like a fool, at least in the mind of Armstrong. Tonight, he looks to return the favor in the middle of the ring and move onward and become the 1993 WCW King of Cable.
Tony Schiavone: And that would lead us to our next guests ...
... the WCW TV champion Lord Steven Regal and Jean Paul Levesque. No action tonight, but big match this weekend on Saturday Night when you Mr. Regal, you take on Shane Douglas in a first round match.
Steven Regal: Yes. It shouldn't really be a surprise, but for whatever reason, all of these Americans as usual are underestimating me. What all of you plebeians fail to understand is that royalty is an inherited trait for myself. I mean, really, could you imagine any of these wrestlers being crowned a king? Dustin Rhodes? Johnny B. Badd? Shane Douglas? It's a bloody circus out here of miscreants. Not only is it in my blood, but it's my destiny to be crowned the WCW King of Cable. Just like I prove all these fans the fool when I lost this TV championship on their vote, only to regain it, I intend to once again do that at the Clash of Champions on your precious American holiday Thanksgiving, and start my road this Saturday by defeating Shane Douglas.
Larry Zbyszko: I got a question wise guys. What happens of the 2 of you face off in this tournament? It's a very real possibility because you can't both win.
Jean Paul Levesque: Monsieur Zbyszko, your arrogance knows no bounds. It is a typical American viewpoint to think like that. As long as 1 of us wins the King of Cable tournament, we will have succeeded in our quest. As long as 1 of us wins, that means an entire nation has been humbled. A country brought to its knees by the 2 of us.
Steven Regal: And another thing, if you're not more careful with your words out here sunshine, you could end up just like everybody that falls before me in this tournament. I'd have thought people learned from what happened to Bill Dundee and Ken Shamrock out here, they are not to stand in our way. And don't think it was some giant coincidence that Arn Anderson was set to face me on Nitro and he's nowhere to be found now. Now 6 other wrestlers are doing just that, setting themselves up for a great fall before yours truly. I don't care if it's the bloody Ice Train last week or even if it's you Zbyszko, anybody that gets in our way will meet the same fate.
Larry Zbyszko: Well don't let me stop the 2 of you. A lot of talk, but still a long way to go.
Tony Schiavone: And that road starts this Saturday on TBS for Lord Steven Regal. Speaking of which, his opponent is in action next as we send it back to David Penzer with the introduction for the next match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
vs
The recent suspension of Arn Anderson would seem to leave Shane Douglas in a hard spot out here, but he intends to go forward, with or without being a Horseman in training. The path begins this coming Saturday on TBS in a first round King of Cable match against Lord Steven Regal, a match that likely has some added significance for Douglas since it was the man that Anderson had been scheduled to wrestle last Monday on Nitro before his indefinite absence from WCW began. Tonight Douglas has a match with journeyman wrestler Rip Rogers, always dangerous and always a threat. Douglas is motivated when the bell rings and seems almost like a new wrestler in there without the weight of trying to prove himself a Horseman there. Rogers does get in some offense, but Douglas controls the majority of this brief 5 minute match. Douglas finally hits Rogers with the belly to belly suplex and pins his shoulders to the mat for the 3 count and the win. The commentators agree that should Douglas get past Regal in their first round match on Saturday, he could be a serious contender to win the entire tournament as he is out to show he is the real deal and belongs in WCW.
-- Third commercial break --
Tony Schiavone: Welcome back wrestling fans. In just a moment we are going to see it. 1 on 1, The Hollywood Blonds. Over the last few months, this tag team has struggled. Going from great heights as WCW Tag Team champions, to a a losing streak with several defeats. Tonight Legend, this could be the start of a significant run for either Flying Brian Pillman or Stunning Steve Austin. Tonight, 1 of these men will win. The other will continue in their losing ways.
Larry Zbyszko: And what a dangerous position it will be 1 of these men in. Before, there was shared blame. You lose tonight, you show J.J. Dillon that you were the weak link. You're essentially taking on all those losses to yourself. Add on the loss tonight and you may as well just leave now, because it won't be much longer until your shown the door. This match is in some ways the most important match we've seen here in months because above a championship, a man's job may depend on the outcome.
Tony Schiavone: And that to come in just a moment here. Right now though we want to bring in somebody ...
... and here you see him, Cactus Jack. Taking an extraordinary beating just 8 days ago at Halloween Havoc, but right back out and at it the very next night. Nothing can keep this man down.
Cactus Jack: And both Big Van Vader and Yoshi Kwan, your 2 hired henchmen Harley Race, they are going to find that out the hard way. You see, I'm not somebody that just goes away. It doesn't matter what you do to me out here, I'm going to keep coming back for more! Now this might not make me the smartest person in the back, but it damn sure makes me the toughest! So next week, some might say it's too soon, but I say why wait?! I want a No Holds Barred match with the undefeated Yoshi Kwan next Monday on Nitro, so I can prove to Harley Race what everybody out there already knows! I deserve an opportunity at the WCW title, and if I don't get 1, I'll take 1!
Larry Zbyszko: Wait a minute. You, as the WCW champion?
Cactus Jack: I may not look like your typical WCW champion, but I damn sure fight like 1! All that I need is the chance, and next week, I plan to start on my way. I don't expect to get there overnight, but Vader better just know that I have him in my sights, and if he lets up at any time, I might just get there. And when I get there, win, lose, or draw, you'll know you've been in a fight with me, and know that you've been to hell and back! So Race, get your men ready, because I'm not going away. And next week, if you accept my challenge, your nightmare begins. BANG! BANG!
Tony Schiavone: And we will hear from Harley Race later on tonight to hear if that challenge gets accepted. Right now, up to David Penzer and our main event for hour #1, right here on WCW Monday Nitro, only on TNT.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
vs
The Hollywood Blonds have come to an end. After weeks of problems brought on by loss after loss, last week's Nitro saw the pot boil over and the challenge put out. Tonight on Nitro, it's Brian Pillman against Steve Austin. A chance for both wrestlers to not only get out some frustration, but also a chance for 1 to grab a win and prove to everybody that it was the partner at fault. It was the man that loses tonight that cost them matches. First out is Pillman. Arguing with fans on his way to the ring, it seems like with the breakup, he is not out to gain any fans. Larry Zbyszko is surprised by this because he would think that having the fans could be key to gaining momentum. Austin comes out after the break.
-- Fourth commercial break --
WCW Saturday Night Preview for November 9
- Yoshi Kwan is in action
- Ron Simmons is in action
- Shane Douglas vs Steven Regal in a King of Cable tournament match
- All that and more, this Saturday at 6:05 eastern on TBS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Back from break and Stunning Steve Austin is on his way. Stopping in the aisle and pointing up to Flyin Brian Pillman, the 2 exchange words before Austin races in, sliding under the bottom rope. Pillman attacks as Austin sweeps out the legs and the referee calls for the bell with both men engaged in a heated brawl on the mat. They get up with the ref trying to separate them, but only giving time for Austin to kick Pillman. Austin starts landing right hands, taking Pillman back into the ropes and firing him across. Pillman comes back, ducking under a clothesline from Austin and hits the ropes again. As Austin turns, he gets greeted by Pillman leaping up into a cross body off the ropes into a cover for a 2 count. Austin rolls outside, but Pillman follows. The commentators call this 1 of the most personal matches in Monday Nitro history as Austin uses their table to lean on and catch his breath, unaware Pillman is right behind him. Pillman grabs Austin to slam him face first into the desk, but he gets an elbow back to the gut. Austin grabs Pillman and runs him back first into the edge of the ring before rolling him back in. He holds up a finger, signifying he is number 1 (a far cry from the 1 finger he would hold up years later), before going back in and kicking the downed Pillman as he is getting up. Austin goes over to remove a turnbuckle pad, but the referee easily catches it. As the ref distracts himself with putting it back on, Austin pulls a foreign object out of his trunks and goes to hit Pillman, only to get a low blow kick instead. Pillman grabs the foreign object and readies to use it, but the referee sees it and takes it away. As Pillman argues, Austin schoolboys him from behind for a quick 2 count. Pillman gets up first with Austin still reeling from the low blow when suddenly a voice comes over the P.A. ...
... STOP!, I SAY STOP! ...
It is Col. Robert Parker?! The commentators are as confused as the fans are, with Pillman not stopping and instead kicking Austin. Parker continues as he approaches and gets into the ring.
Col. Robert Parker: Stop all this nonsense now, ya hear? What is going on here now?
Parker takes the drastic stance of stepping in front of Pillman. So focused on Austin, he shoves the Colonel to get by and grab Austin to keep going. The Colonel physically grabs Pillman to pull him away, somewhat failing, but successfully managing to get in between them again. The referee calls for the bell with the match clearly jeopardized by this random intervention taking place.
Col. Robert Parker: Listen to me here, I say, I say listen to me boy! Referee, get him back now!
Finally Pillman directs his attention to the Colonel. This gives Austin the chance to get at Pillman. Parker still trying to keep them apart.
Col. Robert Parker: Stop it! Would everybody please just calm down 1 second out here? This should not, I say, this should not be happening. You 2 are the best tag team in this here company, and instead you're out here fightin' each other like a couple of fools.
Finally the 2 stop to listen to what the manager, or maybe former manager with Sid Vicious being indefinitely suspended last week, has to say.
Col. Robert Parker: Now see here, Hollywood is all about the egos. I mean you look at movies like The Fugitive with that Harrison Ford fella and Tommy Lee Jones now, or even something like say, I say peanut butter and jam. Every big star needs a counterpart, ya understand now? The thing is it takes somebody to keep them working in sync with each other, somebody to keep them in line. Now it seems to me that it be in your best, I say your best interests to stay as a team. You just need the right representation, and that's where I come in now.
Neither Austin or Pillman seems interested in this.
Col. Robert Parker: Now hold on a minute here, hold on. You saw what I did with them there Masters of the Power Bomb. They were at each others throats until I came into the picture, and I got that big crazed man back on the same page as the champion Vader. I can do the same for you 2, because let's face it. Steve Austin and Brian Pillman may be big names, but they ain't nearly as big apart as they are together. The Hollywood Blonds are, I say they are the greatest tag team in the history of WCW! Can't nobody out there deny this. You 2 should be the WCW Tag Team champions, and instead it's around the wastes of a couple of nobodies like 2 Cold Scorpio and that there mama's boy Marcus Alexander Bagwell. And just the Colonel made Elvis a bigger star, this here Colonel can make you 2 bigger stars. Now before you 2 go ripping each others heads off out here, I think you owe it to yourselves, owe it to each other! Make this thing here work. Now first thing's first, shake hands. Come on now, shake hands.
The 2 look at the Colonel like he has lost his mind. But after some convincing, they shake hands.
Col. Robert Parker: Now see. That there's a lot better than punching each other in the face. See now, I sense money out here. Lots of money because instead of fighting each other, you 2 should be headlining PPV events. If there was ever a match with Stunning Steve vs Flyin Brian, it should be main eventing Starrcade, not a throwaway match on Nitro like this that nobody'll even remember in a couple weeks. What we gotta do see, get you some wins under those belts there. Get some confidence going. We gotta go through all them there tag teams that beat the 2 of you, and get you a shot at the WCW Tag Team title again. I don't think you 2 can beat Scorpio and Bagwell, I know it! Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you The Hollywood Blonds!
Fans boo with some pockets of cheers ringing through. Austin and Pillman still seem reluctant about this, but upon being pressed by Parker in the ring, the 2 shake hands and then embrace. This gets Parker excited as fans continue with their booing, with Larry Zbyszko saying that it is because he sees dollar signs for himself in all of this, and he cannot believe that Austin and Pillman went in for his brainwashing line of B.S. Tony Schiavone focuses instead on the reunion of The Blonds and that if Parker can in fact get them back on the same page again, they could be a serious threat to the tag team division here in WCW going forward.
