Lots going on today but first a little hyping of the November 28th show from Lawton, Oklahoma i ... Thanksgiving Throwdown!. Two big matches already signed which will be talked about later in the show.
The Bon Jovi Boys i are led out by the Head Groupie, Tammy to join our hosts. Don says last week Lolly Dude said the Bon Jovi Boys and Tribal Warfare were pretty evenly matched, well right here today, he's got a challenge to prove once and for all just which team is the better one. Tammy says there's only one answer to that question and it isn't a couple of "injuns".
-xxx- COMMERCIAL BREAK -xxx-
We come back, ready for action in the ring ...
Dean Bon Jovi w/Don Bon Jovi and Tammy versus El Brujo
A real showcaser for the Bon Jovi brother against the masked luchadore. All the high flying action comes from Dean in this squasher while Don Bon Jovi runs his mouth the entire time, jawing at the fans and even getting in some words on the commentary. Lots of camera time for Tammy believe it or not as she turns out to be rather photogenic and very easy on the eyes. Dean makes it look easy, finishing off his opponent with a big air senton bomb.
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER IS COMING TO MAIN EVENT WRESTLING!
We head into another commercial break with a quick video of Adullah the Butcher in action as well as a rundown of the upcoming Thanksgiving event!
Thanksgiving Throwdown!
Abdullah the Butcher versus "Cowboy" Johnny Mantell!
Dean Malenko defends the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title!
And much, much more wrestling action!
-xxx- COMMERCIAL BREAK -xxx-
We come back to our hosts as Lolly Dude marks out big time for Abdullah the Butcher and while he likes Johnny Mantell, does not envy him one little bit. An NWA World Title comes to Oklahoma to be defended for the first time in a very, very long time as Champion Dean Malenko steps into the squared circle against Chris Jericho. The Canadian youngster comes to Oklahoma off of an extensive tour of Japan. Dude says the fans are in for a real treat when they see Jericho in action right here next week ...
An interruption by Odell Buckingham who is hopping mad. He exlains for weeks now, he and fellow Bill Ash student Treach Phillips Jr. have been tearing the roof off anytime the two of them have been wrestling throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Lolly Dude marks out for both their in ring work, noting that the Champion, Phillips has been nothing short of spectacular. Buckingham questions the "spectacular" comment saying that he's the one carrying these matches for this cheating no-good redneck. Bill Ash adds that he's a bit disappointed in Odell because not only has he refused to shake hands with Treach after their last match at Halloween in Hugo but now he's saying that Treach is a cheater? Ash is a fan of solving things in the ring and hopes that Odell Buckingham will say the same as he faces Treach Phillips Jr. in amatch today!
We go to the ring for Odell Buckingham versus Treach Phillips Jr.
We have title action that quickly starts off with Odell refusing to shake hands, which starts off a war of words between the two. They are nose to nose and Odell buys himself some space by shoving Treach. The Champ retaliates with a shove of his own. Back and forth action that seems to increase in stiffer shots as the match goes on. Bill Ash is all kinds of disgusted in Odell Buckingham's behavior ... those aren't the ethics he tries to instill in his students.
Suplex set u by Odell which is reversed into a back body drop. Diving elbow off the middle rope from Treach is followed up by a leg drop. Bill and Odell flap their gums at one another but Odell's better off paying attention as he gets easily distracted and Treach gets back into the match, with a drop kick. Celebrating by punching a fist into the air, Treach pays for it with an Odell Buckingham boot to the nether regions. Big warning from the referee while Bill Ash is beside himself with anger as Odell Buckingham has really stepped over the line with his behavior here. Chants for Treach Phillips Jr. gets him fired up and on the comeback trail. A whip into the corner and Treah follows in afterwards, landing a big back elbow. Monkey flip leads to a close pinfall. While the match continues, the short guy is back ...
The match goes on as we get an introduction to the little guy ... Stepstool Tommy D, Manager of Champions. i He says he's Treach's manager and out here to give Bill Ash a little piece of his mind for the behavior of his guy, Odell Buckingham. Ash defends himself saying that he does not condone Odell's behavior in any way. Tommy D gets up on his stepstool to be on the same level as our two announcers.
Big dropkick sends Odell to the outside and we get a little brawling action going on. James Beard gets the action back in the ring and Odell takes advantage, catching Treach in the chops with a forearm to the head while he's out on the apron. Odell drives a shoulder into the Champ's midsection. Dropping lower, Buckingham sets himself up for a sunset flip. Diving over the top, Treach Phillips Jr. pulls Odell Buckingham to the mat ...
James Beard hits the mat and slaps out a three count ...
Treach Phillips Jr. has done it again!
Beard retrieves the title belt to hand over to the Champion but Odell Buckingham intercepts and pulls it away from the ref. Looking it at, Buckingham shakes his head before holding it out to the Champion. Before Phillips Jr. can take it from him, Buckingham pulls it back and smashes him in the head with it. It catches everyone off guard and the surprised Treach goes down. Odell Buckingham puts the boots to Treach Phillips Jr. and Bill Ash has seen enough and heads to the ring. Throwing the title belt over his shoulder, Odell Buckingham bails from the ring and gets out of Dodge to the loud boos of all those in attendence.
Lolly Dude wraps up the "Power Half Hour" with a reminder of November 28th's ...

i = info
- Main Event Wrestling makes it's return to Lawton, Oklahoma and the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club for their Thanksgiving show.
- While all ECW fans are familiar with Mike Bucci's exploits as Nova/Super Nova, twin bother Don Bucci is no slouch either. A decent wrestler in his own right, Donnie B. instead turned to managing and promoting on the indy level.
- Finally, we get a little information as to who Stepstool Tommy D is and why he's here ... or did we?
