Tony Schiavone: WCW Saturday Night is on the air! All the stars and all the action here tonight on TBS, only 24 hours before Halloween Havoc comes to you on PPV. I'm Tony Schiavone, and with me tonight is the 1 and only Jesse The Body Ventura. Big night tomorrow, but big night tonight as well. 4 tag teams, 8 men, in our main event, 4 on 4 in a preview of the battle royal tomorrow night where 1 team will emerge #1 contender to the WCW Tag Team title.
Jesse Ventura: And we saw it, right here last week Schiavone! The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat, we didn't get a winner then, but you'd better be sure that when you add The Nasty Boys and The Hollywood Blonds to the mix, something's gotta give. I don't know, but if I had to put my money on a team tomorrow, what happens here tonight could be a determining factor.
Tony Schiavone: And that's not all. We will also hear from both Sting and the WCW champion Big Van Vader over the hour, they of course have that big match for the title tomorrow. Coming off that big non title win in the tag team match on Nitro, things are looking up for the challenger.
Jesse Ventura: The man that I'm looking forward to hearing from though, I'm talking The Lone Wolf himself Barry Windham. That restraining order stuff, it might work with housewives and stalkers, but Ric Flair defied the odds and that match is still on for Sunday. I'll be interested to hear not only what he has to say later, but what he intends to do at Halloween Havoc Tony.
Tony Schiavone: Plus we will also hear from the United States champion Ice Train here. His trainer Thunderbolt Patterson subjected to an attack Monday on Nitro, no doubt he'll have a comment on that. When we return though, speaking of the Tag Team champions, it's Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit in non title action against The Z Man and Johnny Gunn. What's gonna happen there? Big night ahead, don't go anywhere!
-- First commercial break --
The WCW Heavyweight champion Big Van Vader and manager Harley Race are interviewed about Vader's title defense tomorrow night against Sting. Race tells viewers that the loss this past Monday on Nitro was in a tag team match which is completely irrelevant, blaming it on an inadequate partner rather than anything to do with Vader himself. Sting will find out first hand the hard way that Vader is the best wrestler in the world, and get a sobering reminder of who it was that took the title from him back in July at the Bash at the Beach. Vader chimes in to say that Sting better be ready because this Sunday he is boarding the pain train and it is Vader time! Race laughs as the loss Monday certainly seems to have not shaken the champion's confidence.
Match #1
WCW Tag Team champions Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit defeated The Z Man and Johnny Gunn via pinfall in a non-title match when Eaton pinned Gunn after the Alabama Jam. Gunn and Zenk seemed to have the match under control in the closing moments as they looked to continue their recent string of wins. Scotty Flamingo's interference proved costly as the referee was distracted by Zenk and Benoit battling, allowing Flamingo to shove Gunn off the top rope. Eaton and Benoit now look to Halloween Havoc and a title defense tomorrow against Arn Anderson and Shane Douglas, while Zenk and Gunn are 1 of 8 tag teams in a big battle royal where the winner becomes the top contender. A chance to revisit this match maybe in the near future for some redemption with the titles on the line.
-- Second commercial break --
The Lone Wolf Barry Windham is interviewed about his match tomorrow night at Halloween Havoc with Ric Flair. Windham tells viewers that Flair for once in his life showed restrained Monday on Nitro, but to be ready because Windham himself will not be showing any when they get into the ring. He brought back the iron claw because when he is ready to finish Flair off, he would rather make him suffer and pay the price. This is his ring now and Flair's days are numbered because he is going to show everybody that he was the real life and blood of the 4 Horsemen and Flair was nothing but a parasite, surviving off the hard work that he did to pave the way for him.
Match #2
Diamond Dallas Page defeated Mike Winner via pinfall after The Diamond Cutter. Easy win tonight, but it will not be so easy tomorrow night against The Studd live on PPV. Jesse Ventura asks about Page's injured arm from several weeks ago with Tony Schiavone dismissing the injury as fake and it seems pretty obvious now that was the case. Ventura says that you can never be sure in wrestling and that maybe it was his other arm and he was just giving The Studd a fake bulls eye.

HALLOWEEN HAVOC CONTROL CENTER
- Eric Bischoff is standing by for the final installment. The event takes place live on PPV tomorrow night, Sunday October 27 from The Lake Front Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The WCW Heavyweight title is on the line when champion Big Van Vader defends against former champion Sting. Rowdy Roddy Piper takes on Ravishing Rick Rude. The Nature Boy Ric Flair goes 1 on 1 with The Lone Wolf Barry Windham. Ice Train defends the WCW U.S. title against Ron Simmons. The Studd to go for revenge against Diamond Dallas Page. WCW Tag Team title is at stake when Arn Anderson and Shane Douglas challenge Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit. An 8 tag team battle royal with the winners to earn a future shot at the title with The Road Warriors, Harlem Heat, The Nasty Boys, The Hollywood Blonds, 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell, Steven Regal and Jean Paul Levesque, The Z Man and Johnny Gunn, and The Cole Twins. As seen Monday on Nitro, Johnny B. Badd challenging Dustin Rhodes to a singles match. And finally, it is Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal when Cactus Jack takes on Sid Vicious. The match stipulations to be determined by a spin of the wheel that night. 9 big matches. Halloween Havoc, Sunday October 27, live on PPV. Don't miss it!
Match #3
Johnny B. Badd defeated Larry Santo via pinfall after The Kiss That Don't Miss. Badd's return after having missed a few weeks as he readies for Halloween Havoc and the match with Dustin Rhodes. Tony Schiavone wonders why Badd seems to have a chip on his shoulder, but Jesse Ventura feels he is just doing wrestlers do. Everybody in that locker room is here to be the best, and Badd is no exception to that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The U.S. champion Ice Train is interviewed about the backstage attack of Thunderbolt Patterson Monday on Nitro. He tells viewers that it seems that Harlem Heat are the ones responsible, and that in his opinion, Ron Simmons ordered them to do it! When it gets pointed out that Simmons told the Heat to stay out of his way for this match, Train says that he is certain that it is just another swerve from the 3 of them in order to catch him off guard Sunday, but he is ready for it. He had wanted the real Ron Simmons, the man that was the first black man to win the WCW title, but instead he is getting the low life that cheats to win. Train says he will be doing this on Sunday for Thunderbolt and for all the fans watching live.

Match #4
The Road Warriors and The Nasty Boys defeated Harlem Heat and The Hollywood Blonds when Hawk pinned Brian Pillman after the Doomsday Device. A preview of tomorrow's tag team battle royal sees all 8 men battling it out when Pillman accidentally rears back for a punch and elbows Steve Austin in the back of his head. Austin turns and shoves Pillman from behind into a powerslam from Animal while Hawk then throws Austin outside to the floor. Meanwhile The Nasty Boys and Harlem Heat are taking care of each other, leaving The Road Warriors to finish Pillman off. Problems continue for The Blonds, who seem to be on their last leg as a team at this point with their only saving grace to this losing streak and tension that their fortunes could turn around in 1 night with a win in the battle royal to become #1 contender. Unfortunately for them, there are 7 other tag teams, some of which are on a roll as of late in the match and much more likely to come out the winners.
Sting is interviewed about his match tomorrow night with Big Van Vader for the WCW title. Sting tells viewers that Vader and Harley Race can say whatever they want, but the facts are that he pinned Vader's shoulders to the mat this past Monday and proved to everybody watching and even to himself that he can beat Vader 1 on 1. When talk turns to the Hulk Hogan video played at the end of Nitro to confirm that he will in fact be there tomorrow at the PPV, Sting says that he is not concerned with any of that and will only be concerned with defeating Vader and becoming the WCW champion once again.
Tony Schiavone closes the show by reminding viewers to tune this coming Monday for Nitro on TNT at 8pm eastern, order Halloween Havoc live on PPV tomorrow night, and to come back next week at 6:05 for more WCW on Saturday Night. Until then, so long!
