Tony Schiavone: Welcome everybody to WCW Saturday Night! We are on the air here on TBS for the hottest hour of wrestling action anywhere over the weekend, as only WCW can bring. I'm Tony Schiavone, joined by Jesse The Body Ventura, and tonight we have a big main event in store for you. It was just a little over 2 months ago that The Harlem Heat injured Road Warrior Animal to put him on the shelf and take him out of War Games. Tonight is the grudge match as The Road Warriors get their chance at revenge.
Jesse Ventura: And it's how I like it. A hard hitting, hard knocks brawl. These guys don't like each other, and that's generally what makes for the best action out here. Both of these teams want that W in the record books, but even more important than that is revenge. That's the name of the game and somebody's getting it, right here tonight!
Tony Schiavone: In addition, we go back to Monday's Nitro. The shocking situation with The Nature Boy Ric Flair in his home town of Charlotte, North Carolina courtesy of The Lone Wolf Barry Windham.
Jesse Ventura: Hey, I spent a night or 2 locked up in the Brig when I was in the Navy Seals, so as far as I'm concerned, Flair got off light! But what does this do for their match at Halloween Havoc? Flair and Windham, something's gotta give in 8 days time on PPV.
Tony Schiavone: And indeed it will. Also here tonight, the return of both The Z Man and Johnny Gunn when they team up to take on The Cole Twins, plus when we return, the United States champion Ice Train will kick us off. Stay tuned for all the action, we'll be right back!

2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell are interviewed about the WCW tag team division. Scorpio tells viewers that their win in the 3 way over both The Nasty Boys and The Hollywood Blonds a couple weeks back on Nitro was just the start of things to come. They have beat Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit before and are just waiting for the dust to clear on whoever emerges from Halloween Havoc as the champions. Bagwell adds that tonight's match with The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat is going to be big and they will be watching it very carefully because whichever team comes out on top there could be who they have to go through to get that shot. Lots of questions in the tag team division right now in WCW, few answers.
Match #1
WCW U.S. champion Ice Train defeated The Gambler via pinfall in a non title match, using a scoop powerslam off the ropes to get the victory. Jesse Ventura spends much of the match playing up The Gambler's name and how if this is a gamble he would make, nobody should be listening to him on betting odds because he clearly has no clue. Meanwhile Train's match with Ron Simmons at Halloween Havoc gets discussed with the appearance this past Monday on Nitro of Thunderbolt Patterson and how it seemed to regenerate Train just when he will need it against an experienced veteran like Simmons.

Brad Armstrong is interviewed about what went down this past Monday on Nitro. He tells viewers that he defeated Chris Adams a second time, and not only that, but he got some added revenge for the superkick the week before when he brought his estranged wife Toni Adams into the mix. Armstrong says that while he is not a fan of added drama and wants to keep wrestling as wrestling, Adams started it when he embarrassed him first, and now Adams will have to watch his TV every Monday night and know that his wife is in the arms of another man. He goes a step further and says that this coming Monday, he wants to expand the Armstrongs' hold on wrestling by bringing in 1 of his brothers for a tag team match against any team out there, and the eventual goal is that before long, the Armstrongs will dominate all of the WCW and hold all of the gold, but specifically himself since he is the best after all.
Match #2
The Z Man and Johnny Gunn defeated The Cole Twins when Zenk pinned Kent Cole with a flying crossbody off the top rope. This match marked the return to action of both Zenk and Gunn after missing several weeks following being put down by Yoshi Kwan's nerve hold on the September 16 and 23 editions of Nitro. The teams start with a handshake and the idea gets pushed during the match that The Cole Twins took their spot in their absence, getting an upset win over The Hollywood Blonds back on the September 30 Nitro, and gave the match some added importance to see which team gets higher on the ladder towards a possible title shot down the road. After the match, the teams shook hands again, everybody acted like a winner, and Jesse Ventura thinks displays like this is why The Cole Twins lost, because in his day, he sure was not shaking the hand of anybody that beat him in the ring.

HALLOWEEN HAVOC CONTROL CENTER
- Eric Bischoff is standing by for the next to final installment. The event takes place live on PPV in 8 days time on Sunday October 27 from The Lake Front Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The WCW Heavyweight title is on the line when champion Big Van Vader defends against former champion Sting. Rowdy Roddy Piper takes on Ravishing Rick Rude. The Nature Boy Ric Flair goes 1 on 1 with The Lone Wolf Barry Windham. Ice Train defends the WCW U.S. title against Ron Simmons. The Studd to go for revenge against Diamond Dallas Page. WCW Tag Team title is at stake when Arn Anderson and Shane Douglas challenge Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit following their non title win this past Monday on Nitro. Also just signed today, a tag team battle royal with the winners to earn a future shot at the title. The first 3 tag teams announced are The Road Warriors and Harlem Heat, set to do battle tonight in the main event, and The Nasty Boys. More teams to be announced. It is Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal when Cactus Jack takes on Sid Vicious. The match stipulations to be determined by a spin of the wheel that night. More matches will be announced in the coming weeks. Halloween Havoc, Sunday October 27, live on PPV. Don't miss it!
Match #3
Yoshi Kwan defeated Rikki Nelson via submission with The Sleeping Dragon nerve hold. Easy win for Kwan, who is thus far undefeated in WCW. The commentators wonder if there will be anybody out there that will be able to survive The Sleeping Dragon, proving to be the most dangerous move in WCW. Jesse Ventura continues his weekly Hulk Hogan digs by asking Tony Schiavone which is worst, being put out by The Sleeping Dragon or being put out by having to sit through Mr. Nanny? Of course as mentioned before, nobody of enough importance in WCW management is watching the show in enough detail to ever catch these comments to discipline The Body, week after week going undisciplined.

The Studd is interviewed about his match this coming Monday on Nitro against Ron Simmons. He tells viewers that this marks his chance to get a win over a top competitor here in WCW and a former WCW Heavyweight champion, and finally earn himself a chance at some gold. Asked about the match with Diamond Dallas Page at Halloween Havoc, Studd says that DDP has faked injury to avoid the match so far, but come Havoc, he will have nowhere left to run or hide because he intends to finish the job and show everybody just what made The Diamond Mine tick. Finally talk turns to Arn Anderson's observation of him weeks ago and what it means for his future as a possible Horseman, Studd just playing coy and saying that fans will have to wait to find out but he promises that before all is said and done, everybody will know where he stands and just who he rides with.

- For everything that squeeks, now there's 1 Lube, and everyone should like the sound of that, from Slick 50
- Botany 500 menwear, for a century the name that's meant style, quality, and value in men's dress clothes
Match #4
The Road Warriors defeated Harlem Heat via DQ when Stevie Ray came in with a steel chair and hit Hawk across the back during a pin attempt on Booker T. A hard hitting slug fest in the main event tonight with both teams not looking so much for a win as much as inflicting pain on and getting revenge on their opponents. The non finish ensures that this feud is far from over and the commentators make mention that both of these tag teams were announced for the tag team battle royal at the Halloween Havoc in 8 days time, and how fitting would it be for them to be the final 2 teams. Jesse Ventura thinks that the recent amicable separation from Ron Simmons may have impacted the Heat in the short run, but once they get adjusted to it, The Road Warriors could be in serious trouble.
Lord Steven Regal and Jean Paul Levesque are interviewed about the challenge that has come from Arn Anderson and Shane Douglas for this Monday on Nitro. Regal tells the viewers that the 2 of them are not an official tag team, but they welcome the opportunity because above being the WCW TV champion, if Anderson and Douglas go on to win the belts at Halloween Havoc, it would put them in line for a future shot at the title. Levesque goes on to say that while Regal will take care of Anderson, he can not wait to get his hands on Douglas and show him what wrestling in the WCW is all about. Regal gets asked on a future defense against Anderson given the non title win last week, but just ignores it and says this interview is about the tag team match Monday on Nitro and any situation with the TV title will be discussed at the appropriate time.
Tony Schiavone closes the show by reminding viewers to tune this coming Monday for Nitro on TNT at 8pm eastern, and to come back next week at 6:05 for more WCW on Saturday Night. Until then, so long!
