Seriously dig seeing Haku paired with anyone else from Los Amigos - whether it be Ultimo, Hamada, or Hakushi. All good stuff. Highly entertaining unit that continues to shine, in my eyes.
Cool to see my boys in Strong Destruction get some wins right out the gate, of course.
Got some significant "upsets" in the first few rounds of competition here. Didn't expect to see King's Road or the Musketeers to lose right away, for instance. Shocking, but it's fitting. Lends credibility to the notion that ANYONE can beat ANYBODY on ANY given night in this thing. Real sports feel & all that. Plus, yeah. It put over the return of Tenzan with his boss new finisher, too.

Started reading this and realized I actually am not sure of the format for this. I assume it is every tag team faces each other once? I ask only because I am noticing here some teams have 2 matches before others even have had 1, like The Musketeers before Fuyuki-gun for example. It did however stick to the logical formula where the first 8 teams go at it leaving 2 more and they then fought each other their first match too, just a night later. This is the type of writing that really displays another side of the writer in a territory like Japan and further puts you at amongst the best, the logic of being able to hold something like this together and plan it out to make sense along the way and have a dramatic finish.
Likewise, the upsets were unexpected on the first couple nights. I also agree though, puts over the idea that any team can beat any team, and that is really what is needed in something like this. Plus it helps put favorites at a slight disadvantage early rather than run away early, only to lose late.
