A traditional approach this year keeping with the round robin format with a single block of 10 teams. The league kicks off on October 8th at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall.

The 10th Team will be an underdog style entry to be decided in a special one night 4 team tournament during night one featuring the following teams, and having the theme of either a Jr. heavyweight & a young lion or simply a young lion and a regular:

Satoshi Kojima & Hiromichi Fuyuki (Fuyuki-gun)
"Super Rookie" Jun Akiyama & Jushin "Thunder" Liger
