Here today Southern Heavyweight Champion THE KING Jerry Lawler is here in action as well we will see the debut of a big bad man from Texas John Hawk Bradshaw and not to mention his legendary manager "Playboy" Gary Hart. But that is not all and here to tell you all about is my partner Dave Brown. Davey take it away !
Dave Brown: Thank you Lance and in addition to what Lance has told you Billy Joe Travis is here taking on Mark Ash, and in our main event the USWA Tag Team Champions Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson The Rock n Roll Express will defend their titles against the Tennessee Volunteers Reno Riggins and Steve Doll....

Jim Cornette: Dave Brown the more I here you talk the more I wish for you to shut up ! But you do have one thing right the Rock n Roll Express will defend the USWA Tag team titles here today but you have the challengers team name all wrong as usual I have to come out here and correct you. How on earth do you still have a job ? Don't answer I really do not need to know what kind of perverted things you do back to my point the challengers are the Jim Cornette led team of Reno Riggins and Steve Doll The Tennessee Volunteers and here they are !!!

Billy Joe Travis vs Mark Ash
Billy Joe Travis steps into the ring with his guitar in hand as he tries to play but the crowd boos as he looks around in disbelief and in anger sets the guitar in the corner and out of nowhere attacks Mark Ash as referee Ronnie West calls for the bell to sound. Travis has Ash on the ground kicking him in the gut and the sides as he looks to the crowd for approval but is once again met with a chorus of boos. This angers Billy once again and this time he lifts Ash too his feet and pushes him to the ropes sending him across the ring but as Billy goes for a clothesline Ash ducks and as Billy turns he is met with a dropkick as Ash gains some momentum he looks to the crowd who approvingly cheer him on as he lifts Billy to his feet but Billy lifts his knee to the gut of Ash doubling him over as Billy hits a snap suplex for the pin 1...2...3

Jeff Jarrett turns to walk away and Billy Joe hits him from behind with the guitar knocking him down to the floor and he then begins to kick Jarrett until security and matchmaker Eddie Marlin clear him from the area.

Brad & Bryant Anderson vs Bobby Blaze & Joey Maggs
Brad & Bryant certainly have a big reputation to live up to with the Anderson name behind them. They look to be off to a great start as Bryant locks up with Bobby Blaze as Anderson is able to power Blaze back into the corner where he unloads with a number of chops before whipping him across the ring into the corner following him in with a clothesline. Blaze staggers from the corner where Anderson then grabs him by the arm and hits a short arm clothesline dropping him to the mat. Bryant then walks around the ring mocking Blaze and taunting Maggs as Brad cheers him on in the corner but the celebration does not last long as Blaze gets to his feet and dropkicks Anderson from behind sending him through the ropes and out to the floor as Blaze hits the corner and makes the tag to Maggs. Joey gets into the ring and challenges Brad Anderson to get in the ring the referee orders Bryant back into the ring as he continues to count. Bryant gets back into the ring and acts as if he is going to lockup with Maggs but he steps back and tags in Brad. Brad comes into the ring and locks up with Maggs but as Joey tries to overpower him Brad nails him with a knee to the gut doubling Joey over. Brad then lifts his knee into the face of Maggs before he drops Bobby Blaze to the floor with a dropkick. Bill Dundee returns to USWA action taking James Earl Wright, The two men circle each other and then lockup the more powerful Wright drives the Superstar back to the ropes and whips him and tries to follow up with a clothesline but the Superstar ducks underneath and hits the ropes as Wright turns around Dundee nails him with a bodypress for the pin 1...2...3

Champions: The Rock n Roll Express vs The Tennessee Volunteers with Jim Cornette
Jim Cornette is in the ring taunting Ricky and Robert as the history between these men goes back many years and now Cornette is manager Riggins and Doll. The referee gets Cornette from the ring and signals for the bell Morton is in the ring with his back turned as Doll attacks from behind hammering away on Morton driving him down to the mat. Doll then hits the ropes and runs at Morton but Ricky is able to put a stop to it with a headbutt to the gut of Doll knocking him down to the mat as Cornette climbs onto the ring apron but quickly gets down as Morton tries to get his hands on him. With his back turned Doll Is able to make the tag to Riggins who comes into the ring and attempts to attack Morton but Ricky turns around before he can stopping Reno dead in his tracks. Morton goes after Riggins who ducks from the ring and huddles with Cornette and Doll on the floor as the referee counts.....

We are back as The Tennessee Volunteers and Jim Cornette continue to strategize on the floor, The Rock n Roll Express have had enough as Ricky goes one way and Robert goes the other surrounding them as Cornette scream in fear the Rock n Rolls grab the Volz and send them head first into each other before sending them back into the ring. As the referee is distracted by Riggins and Doll who have regained composure double teaming Morton as Gibson is distracted by Cornette once again but quickly turns his attention back to the ring but as he gets on the ring apron Cornette nails him with his tennis racket dropping him back down to the floor. Cornette then gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee as he sends the racket into the ring trying to get it to Riggins but he misses and Morton is able to catch it. Ricky then nails Riggins with it but Doll ducks out of the way and falls to the mat where he is able to hit Ricky with a low blow before he hits a fisherman's suplex on Morton for the pin as Cornette screams at the referee to count 1...2...3
Cornette is jumping for joy as he grabs the title belts and hands them to Steve Doll and Reno Riggins as they come out to the floor

Lance Russell: We are back folks and Dave Brown making his return to USWA competition is non other then "The Superstar" Bill Dundee
Dave Brown: It has been a long time since we have seen the Superstar in action here in the USWA Lance.
Bill Dundee makes his way into the studio
Bill Dundee: Lance Russell, Dave Brown it is sure good to be back here in Memphis and you know the more I see stays the same with you two the more that seems to change with all the new young talent here today and Lance I also see I stays the same as the Kingfish Jerry Lawler is the Southern Champion as well. It has been a long time since I have had a belt around my waist and I am here to get one just like everybody else but right now I see a man in the ring eyeballing the Superstar so I think I will go take care of business.
Lance Russell: All right let's head on back to the ring for the Superstar
"The Superstar" Bill Dundee vs James Earl Wright
Bill Dundee returns to USWA action taking James Earl Wright, The two men circle each other and then lockup the more powerful Wright drives the Superstar back to the ropes and whips him and tries to follow up with a clothesline but the Superstar ducks underneath and hits the ropes as Wright turns around Dundee nails him with a bodypress for the pin 1...2...3

Lance Russell: We are back and Davey it is time to talk to the Southern Champion Jerry" The King" Lawler
Dave Brown: That sounds good Lance and here comes the King
Lance Russell: First of all Jerry I have to ask how does it fell to see the Superstar back in the USWA
Jerry Lawler: Well Lance he's been a way for awhile now and it is always good to see Bill but I know for a fact that I need to watch my back as I have something he wants being the Southern title but just like anybody else who challenges me he will have a fight on his hands.
Lance Russell: King I know you were watching the debut of John Hawk Bradshaw and listening to Gary Hart out here earlier today.
Jerry Lawler: Yeah I saw John Hawk Bradshaw he is a big powerful man and I know I will meet him in the ring sooner rather then later but he needs to remember just who I am. I am the Southern Champion I have been World Champion and as far as Gary Hart is concerned he is just another manager who likes to run his big mouth

Gary Hart: Jerry Lawler you want to come out here and talk about having a big mouth and talking well I see is your mouth running and not backing it up in the ring when is the last time you put the Southern title on the line ? How about you do it October 14th against John Hawk Bradshaw or do you not have the guts ?
Jerry Lawler: Hart I will defend my title anytime, anyplace and if your man wants a shot at the title go to Eddie Marlin and talk to him about it.
Lawler begins to leave as Bradshaw lays him out from behind with a big lariat
John Hawk Bradshaw: I hope I got your attention Lawler !! Because now you will never turn your back on me again

Lance Russell: There you have it folks, Right now it is main event time for the USWA tag team titles so lets head on up to Corey Macklin.
USWA Tag Team Championship
Champions: The Rock n Roll Express vs The Tennessee Volunteers with Jim Cornette
Jim Cornette is in the ring taunting Ricky and Robert as the history between these men goes back many years and now Cornette is manager Riggins and Doll. The referee gets Cornette from the ring and signals for the bell Morton is in the ring with his back turned as Doll attacks from behind hammering away on Morton driving him down to the mat. Doll then hits the ropes and runs at Morton but Ricky is able to put a stop to it with a headbutt to the gut of Doll knocking him down to the mat as Cornette climbs onto the ring apron but quickly gets down as Morton tries to get his hands on him. With his back turned Doll Is able to make the tag to Riggins who comes into the ring and attempts to attack Morton but Ricky turns around before he can stopping Reno dead in his tracks. Morton goes after Riggins who ducks from the ring and huddles with Cornette and Doll on the floor as the referee counts.....
COMMERCIAL BREAK
We are back as The Tennessee Volunteers and Jim Cornette continue to strategize on the floor, The Rock n Roll Express have had enough as Ricky goes one way and Robert goes the other surrounding them as Cornette scream in fear the Rock n Rolls grab the Volz and send them head first into each other before sending them back into the ring. As the referee is distracted by Riggins and Doll who have regained composure double teaming Morton as Gibson is distracted by Cornette once again but quickly turns his attention back to the ring but as he gets on the ring apron Cornette nails him with his tennis racket dropping him back down to the floor. Cornette then gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee as he sends the racket into the ring trying to get it to Riggins but he misses and Morton is able to catch it. Ricky then nails Riggins with it but Doll ducks out of the way and falls to the mat where he is able to hit Ricky with a low blow before he hits a fisherman's suplex on Morton for the pin as Cornette screams at the referee to count 1...2...3
Cornette is jumping for joy as he grabs the title belts and hands them to Steve Doll and Reno Riggins as they come out to the floor

Lance Russell: Well Dave next week is shaping up to be a good one as well as we will see a few familiar faces return and a couple of new ones as well.
Dave Brown: That is right Lance next week "The Nature Boy" Buddy Landell makes his return as well as "The Bullet" Bob Armstrong and for the first time in the USWA "The Rocket" Owen Hart and "The Outlaw" Joel Deaton will be here.
