Tony Schiavone: WCW Saturday Night is on the air! Hello wrestling fans, I'm Tony Schiavone alongside Jesse The Body Ventura, and tonight Jesse, big match here as in our main event, it will be The Nasty Boys against Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit in a #1 contenders match for the WCW Tag Team title.
Jesse Ventura: And you gotta think, this is something that both of these teams have waited a long time for. They're both coming off big wins, and 1 of them moves on to get a title shot while the other goes back to the drawing board. It all goes down right here tonight!
Tony Schiavone: And we'll also go back to Monday's Nitro. More news involving Hulk Hogan that you'll want to stay tuned for that. As well as the return of a major name that will be taking on Ravishing Rick Rude at Halloween Havoc.
Jesse Ventura: Ha, and you know this time, Rude may be in over his head. He's a good wrestler Schiavone, but this might be a mountain that even he can't climb when it's all said and done. He's made a lot of enemies the last few months, but this might be the biggest yet.
Tony Schiavone: And when we return, it's The Natural Dustin Rhodes returning to action to take on Diamond Dallas Page, plus The Road Warriors are reunited and we will hear from them. Stay tuned, we'll be right back.

The Road Warriors are interviewed about Animal's return this past Monday on Nitro to confront Ron Simmons and the Harlem Heat. Animal tells viewers that it was a long road to recovery but he is now back and The Road Warriors are ready to take their place at the top of the mountain here in WCW, and it starts with Harlem Heat. In fact, if the Heat are such big men, they are throwing out a challenge for a tag team match this Monday on Nitro. Hawk continues that they are not the type to play games, but there is a game they can play Monday and it is called kick the can. Harlem Heat can try to kick the can, while they just kick their butts all over Baltimore and if Ron Simmons wants to come play too, their little friend, the equalizer (the 2x4) will be there watching their back. He ends with the trademark "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what a rush!"
Match #1
Dustin Rhodes defeated Diamond Dallas Page via countout when The Studd came out and DDP ran off to the back. Rhodes had been in control of the match when DDP got the advantage on the floor and was about to use a foreign object, leading to The Studd's appearance. Before DDP could use it, Studd came up and DDP started to back off. He threw down the object before being able to use it and took off with Studd chasing DDP around the ringside area before the 2 headed to the back. The referee counted as Rhodes got in on time to take the win. He shrugged his shoulders with an "a win is a win" type look while Jesse Ventura thought that was not a fair win at all and Rhodes should have been DQd. Tony Schiavone pointed out that he never touched DDP, the man was just scared, but Ventura did not want to buy what he was selling. Schiavone mentions that this Monday on Nitro, DDP will have nowhere to run because they go 1 on 1.

Johnny B. Badd is interviewed about the decision announced this past Monday on Nitro to name Rowdy Roddy Piper as Rick Rude's opponent for Halloween Havoc. Badd starts off by telling viewers that he has an opinion on this, but he is going to save it for Monday night on Nitro because he wants to be sure that the right people are listening. Asked for who the right people are, Badd just loses it and says that he has worked and worked and worked to get win after win the last 2 months and he gets overlooked like this, but Monday on Nitro, nobody will be overlooking him because he is going to speak his mind loud and clear for all to hear.
Match #2
Shane Douglas defeated Mike Winner with The Belly to Belly Suplex in another impressive outing for The Horseman in training. During the match, Arn Anderson comes out to take a look as the commentators talk about how last week Anderson was watching The Studd wrestle. Tony Schiavone thinks that a lot of thought goes into picking a Horseman as you need top level talent and these 2 could certainly be it, but Jesse Ventura wonders if maybe these 2 are not numbers 3 and 4, but they could be competing for the exact same spot. Schiavone says it is possible for all we know.

HALLOWEEN HAVOC CONTROL CENTER
- Eric Bischoff is standing by for the first installment. The event takes place live on PPV on Sunday October 27 from The Lake Front Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. People in that area, get your tickets fast because they will sell out. 2 matches announced so far with Sting challenging Big Van Vader for the WCW title. The former champion gets 1 more chance as a result of his win last week over Ric Flair in a #1 contenders match on Nitro. We heard at the end of Nitro, it will be Ravishing Rick Rude going 1 on 1 with Rowdy Roddy Piper, Piper looking to get revenge after Rude's unnecessary attack back at the Clash of Champions in early August. In addition, Cactus Jack has challenged Sid Vicious to a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match, but so far there is no official response from the Sid camp in regards to acceptance, but we expect to hear on that this Monday on Nitro. More matches will be announced in the coming weeks. Halloween Havoc, Sunday October 27, live on PPV. Don't miss it!
Match #3
Cactus Jack defeated Larry Santo via a double underhook DDT. Cactus makes it look easy here tonight, but it gets stressed that his challenge for Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal still hangs. Sid Vicious wanted to accept Monday, but Col. Robert Parker advised against it. Tony Schiavone thinks that Sid's trial run with Parker could already be over after the problems they had, but Jesse Ventura agrees with Parker and thinks that if Sid and Big Van Vader are to collide, Sid should focus on making sure Vader stays champion and avoid high risk matches like Spin the Wheel where it could literally end up being any match imaginable.

Brad Armstrong is interviewed about his actions this past Monday on Nitro, coming out during the rematch with The Lightning Kid and Jerry Lynn. Armstrong tells viewers that it was not long ago, in fact only a little over a year ago, that he was WCW Light Heavyweight champion. It was never even acknowledged on TV at the time and the title was deactivated a short time later because WCW did not want Brad Armstrong as a champion because he does not fit the mold of what WCW wants in a wrestler. In that year, he has had to bite and claw to stay within the WCW and now comes these 2 flash in the pans with their high flying style that the commentators treat like the second coming or something, but that is not wrestling. It is rather a stunt show and he wants no part of it. Instead he is challenging any wrestler to a match on Monday, a real wrestler, saying that those 2 had their moment and now they can go back to trying to end up wheelchair bound and penniless by the age of 30 with nobody remembering who they are, that is not who he wants. He wants a match with a true wrestler on Monday's Nitro so he can show that Brad Armstrong is not just a name, but the best "wrestler" in the WCW today.

Match #4
Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit defeated The Nasty Boys when Eaton pinned Saggs after The Alabama Jam, thanks in large part to outside interference from The Hollywood Blonds. Clearly The Blonds were upset by their elimination from this mini tournament at the hands of The Nasty Boys and wanted to get some revenge. The Nasties looked to be on the verge of victory when Benoit had the referee distracted trying to get in the ring as The Nasty Boys readied to give Eaton their finisher. Instead Steve Austin appeared as a distraction to Saggs while Brian Pillman shoved him off the top rope and Knobbs was left to chase them away. Eaton was able to connect with his finisher and pick up a big win to become #1 contenders and earn a title shot on Monday.
Harlem Heat are interviewed about the challenge earlier tonight from The Road Warriors for Monday's Nitro. Booker T tells the viewers that they may look like suckas, but they ain't never been the type to back down from a fight and this Monday they accept so that they can show the world that it is all about the streets of Harlem and them Chicago streets ain't nothing fit for even a couple dirty dogs like The Road Warriors. Stevie Ray adds that they know The Road Warriors are a big legendary team that would intimidate most, but they are not most and this Monday, they are going to put their names on the map when they not only defeat The Road Warriors but finish what they started and send them back to Chicago for good.
Tony Schiavone closes the show by reminding viewers to tune this coming Monday for Nitro on TNT at 8pm eastern, and to come back next week at 6:05 for more WCW on Saturday Night. Until then, so long!
