(NWA) Florida Championship Wrestling Presents: Championship Wrestling from Florida 6-10-92. Shown on the Sunshine Network at 10:30 A.M. Taped at the Tampa Sportstorium on 6-8-92.

The Show opens with Gordon Solie sitting at the Action Desk, with Florida Championship Wrestling behind him.

GS:" Welcome to Florida Championship Wrestling, I'M your host Gordon Solie. We have a great show for you today. We will see the T.V. debut of Stunning Steve Austin. Also tonight we will have two qualifying matchs for the Young Lions Tournament. Our Main Event tonight will be Florida Heavyweight Champion Nightstalker and Vinnie Vegas VS Dustin Rhodes & Chris Chavis. lets get to the ring for our first match."

Match#1 Young Lions Tournament Qualiflying Match
Lizmark Jr defeats Matt Hardy via pinfall. Lizmark Jr and Hardy flying all over the ring. Jr high risk moves pays off in the end. He wins the match with a diving crossbody.

GS:" Right know we will like to welcome to the Action Desk Stunning Steve Austin."

Austin walks to the Action Desk in his full ring gear.

GS:" Austin I'm glad you are here, so you can tell us why you did you jump Bobby Walker last week."

SA:" Well Gordon I told you last week Walker was just at the wrong place. I'm not here to pay my dues, I did that in Memphis. I spilled my blood in Memphis to get better. So Gordon before I go to the ring and show Florida Championship Wrestling who the best wrestler in the world today. Bobby Walker you will be the first victim in My Stunning Rise."

Steve Austin walks off to the ring.

Match#2
Stunning Steve Austin defeats Bobby Walker via pinfall. Walker start off strong after what happened last week. Walker gets a couple of good moves in, before Austin took control. Austin then took out Walker with the Stun Gunn( A flapjack onto the top rope).

(VTR) Of Rey Mystero Jr winning all over Mexico. Comming next week to FCW.

Match#3
Harlem Heat(Stevie Ray & Booker T) W/ Teddy Long defeats Larry Oliver & Chris Kanyon via pinfall. HH makes quick work of Oliver and Kanyon. They hit the Heat Seeker( ElecticChair/Missile DropKick Combo) for the win.

After the match Harlem Heat with Teddy Long come to the Action Desk. Just when Solie tried to speak Long stopped him and, started talking.

TL:" Shut up chump this will not take long. Lynn and Kidd you see what we did to those loosers. Next week shine those belts up for us. You are looking at the next Florida Tagteam Champions."

Match#4 Young Lions Tournament Qualiflying Match
Eric Watts defeats Adam Copeland via pinfall. Watts uses every dirty trick in the book to win the match. He rolls-up Copeland with a hand full of tights for the win.

(Promo) For the 6/12/92 show at the Miami Armory. Where The Main Event will be for the Florida Heavyweight Title when Dustin Rhodes will battle Nightstalker.

(VTR) Of the what happend last week between Nightstalker and Dustin Rhodes, also the Trouble Chris Chavis has been having with Vinnie Vegas.

Match#5
"The True Wrestler" Alex Porteau defeats Devon Storm via pinfall. Porteau puts on another pure wrestling showcase. Porteau wins the match with a textbook belly to belly suplex. After the match Porteau hits another belly to belly suplex. He was going for a third when from the back Mike Rotunda to save Storm. Porteau runs out of the ring having nothing to do with Rotunda.

GS:" Before we get to the main event lets hear from some tape comments The Florida Tagteam Champions Jerry Lynn & The Lighting Kid."

JL:" Next week Harlem Heat you see what everybody else knows, we are the best team in Florida. Me and the Kid may have our defferences. In the end Heat we are on the same page."

LK:" Lynn is right we have had our differences, but in the end we are champs for a reason. Next week Harlem Heat you will not beat us."

Match#6 Main Event
Dustin Rhodes & Chris Chavis defeats NightStalker & Vinnie Vegas W/DDP via pinfall. This is not a wrestling match. It is a war with all four men battle all over the ring. Rhodes win the match when he hits a bulldog on the Nightstalker.

GS:" What a show. I'm Gordon Solie saying So Long from the Sunshine State."

Good piece of television. I liked the purpose of the main event, with Dustin completing his business from last week by getting the pin over the Nightstalker. Dustin looks like a legitimate rising star, which is fantastic. He's right at home here. Cool to see you caved to a little feedback & decided to do the Vinnie Vegas gimmick. Generic Nash could thrive in the Attitude Era, but it feels bland by 1992 standards. I mean, hey. Why not play off the Florida scenery & time period to make the most of the Vegas gimmick? Smart move there.

I'm anticipating the arrival of Rey Jr. to this roster. With the structure of your Young Lions division, he could really shine nicely & use it as a catapult to send his career up to that next level. This could be Rey's breakthrough story in our fantasy universe, when it's all said & done. Can't wait.

Enjoying the heck out of Austin. You've captured his rebellious nature quite well. Glad to see you're attempting to tackle his promos. I tried to read the dialogue with his voice in mind. I'd say the speech pattern & tone were effective, but it could still use some work. Again, YouTube & DailyMotion are your best buds. They're a tremendous resource when it comes to interviews. Feel free to use them often. By all means though, keep this sort of spotlight on Stunning Steve.

Rotunda popping up in Florida just fits. He's a solid veteran to have on hand. Very versatile type of worker. Giving Porteau the "True Wrestler" tag-line pretty much creates a built-in rivalry (or association) for those guys. Nice job with that.

I think you may be rushing things with your tag division. It's key for us to see Lynn & the Kid in action, so we can experience & witness the "shaky partnership" for ourselves, firsthand. We haven't seen it yet. We've only heard about it. But you're already tossing them in there with Harlem Heat, who could believably be future champs in the making. It just feels like you're feeding them their best opposition right away. It's cold, with little to no build. So it's almost like a wasted opportunity. You could let both teams gain some traction first, then let them lock horns.

Erik Watts as a heel in Florida is neat. Never really cared much for the guy's in-ring performances, but he has his place among your Young Lions. Playing up his heritage with Cowboy Bill or his home state could be a fun way to get him heat in the Sunshine State.

I like what you are building so far.

The YLC is shaping up nicely. Lizmark Jr. and Erik Watts really brought it this week. Bill Watts was pretty big in Florida so connecting Erik to Bill will do wonders for him. Erik was very solid in the ring, I always thought.

Stunning Steve is going to make a fantastic centerpiece to Florida Wrestling as he should be. I hope to see him get involved in every facet of the promotion. I'd love to see Stunning Steve and Dustin Rhodes face off.

Harlem Heat vs. Lynn and the Kid should be pretty epic. Four untested young guys unleashing on each other will be awesome. Lynn and the Kid are the ultimate underdogs. I think they make perfect tag champs.

Alex Porteau is becoming quite a bit of fun every week. I wanna see what you have in store for him.

BIG win for Dustin Rhodes and this has to set him up for a big rematch. DDP didn't do much for his charges. I like the Vegas and Stalker team.

You are doing a very good job building week to week. I can appreciate that a lot.

Glad to see you were able to pull the trigger on a deal for Rey Jr. as he should fit in pretty well here.looking forward to seeing what you've got cooked up for him. Should be good.

Austin, with a little mic time could be off the charts here. As Bobby Walker found today, there just might be something with this guy. Being part of a youthful promotion might really do wonders for himself and partners.

With Dustin, Chavis, Porteau, Lynn, and others, it is easy to see that Floida is in good hands.

Yeah Rey will fit in great here with the young lion's man. For sure. Good TV. Austin is coming along nicely. I will say you're a little off with the backstory though, should of caught it when you PM'd me about the USWA mention. Although Steve did BRIEFLY compete in Memphis during the period of time that Jerry owned the Dallas & Memphis offices, the USWA that Austin cut his teeth in was not Memphis but rather Texas. Still doesn't matter however, it's all about the character work. It's flawed a bit, but each week you're getting better and better at writing 'em. Good stuff right there.

Like your version of Austin here. The Stun Gun finisher and his attitude fit his real life personna well. Watts could very well be a good chicken@*%^ heel. Porteau and Rotunda could be good. Great win by the fun team of Rhodes and Chavis. Harlem Heat is going to take advantage of the friction between Lynn and The Kid. You heard it here first.

I like the idea of the Young Lions Division, Dustin, Rotundo, Stunning Steve, Chavis, and Harlem Heat make for great main events. Just remember its Stunning Steve not Stone Cold, you may want to put him with a mouthpiece to cover his thick Texas accent. I was 7 in 92 and didn't believe the guy was from Hollywood. He and Vinnie Vegas with a heel Watts would be a great crew to build around. Fun show.

Yep Florida is starting to cook. Happy to see someone treating the rookie as a rookie (Nash as VV not Diesel or KN) unlike HHH elsewhere. There is something really interesting about the Jerry Lynn & Lightning Kid that I would like to see continue if you decide to. And playing EW as a heel in a pretty good idea. Best of luck.
