Before the show officially started ring announcer Corey Maclin announced that last night at the Mid South Coliseum Brian Christopher defeated "Suicide Blonde" Chris Candido in the finals of the USWA Jr. Heavyweight title tournament to become the first champion and that later on tonight Christopher will defend that title for the very first time against Candido right here in Louisville!

Our opening match pit the duo of Wolfie D & new comer the Crimson Dragon against Brickhouse Brown & "Nightmare" Danny Davis. Crimson Dragon wore a generic lucha mask, but played the part of Kabuki and was billed from "the Orient" so yeah there's that going on. Fun little opener with a shocking finish as an unidentified black man ran in forcing the official to pull him back, as this happened Wolfie D snuck behind Brown and scored with his inverted DDT at 10:12.

Post Match- Wolfie D embraced this mysterious individual, I'm sure there's more to this situation.

Singles action saw Bam Bam Bigelow return to Louisville with an easy win over David Young pinning him off a top rope diving headbutt at 4:14.


USWA Tag Team Champions: The Disciples Of A New Dawn (Maxx Payne & The Demolisher) w/ Darly Van Horne defended their gold against top contenders: The Bruise Brothers (Don & Ron Harris) in our next contest. An all out brawl that saw the Harris twins score with a double big boot on Demolisher and look to finish only for Van Horne to pull the official to the outside for the DQ at 12:10.

Post Match- Pull apart as per typical Disciples/Bruise Brothers standards.

Just before intermission with our second title match of the evening as Brian Christopher makes his first defense of the USWA Jr. Heavyweight Championship against "Suicide Blonde" Chris Candido w/ "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble. Back and forth contest with a finish that comes out of nowhere as Christopher rolls thru a sunset flip attempt from Candido for the pin at 16:45. Beautiful match, much like this past Monday.

Intermission During intermission it's announced that when we return next Tuesday Night, The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) will challenge the Disciples for the USWA Tag Team Championships! Plus "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert will go one on one with "Superstar" Bill Dundee for the USWA Heavyweight Championship!

Singles action see's Koko B. Ware go one on one with Bobby Knight. Easy win for Koko who puts Bobby Knight away with the Ghostbuster in just 4:45.

Special Attraction Tag Team Match pits: The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Futlon) against the duo of Billy Joe Travis & Rod the Bodyguard. "Cry Baby" chants are in full effect, with the Fantastics egging it on of course. Good old fashioned Southern tag team 'rasslin here thru and thru. Finish see's Fulton send Billy into his partner and bust out a Backlund Bridge for the pin at 13:38.

Marcus Alexander Bagwell was in singles action next taking on Bad Crew Rose w/ Tony Rumble. Easy win for Bagwell as he puts Rose away with the Fisherman's Suplex in just 2:48.

Main Event: Huge tag team action as promised last week as Jerry "the King" Lawler teams with TV5 Champion: "Superstar" Bill Dundee to take on the hated duo of "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol & USWA Heavyweight Champion: "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert w/ Paul E. Dangerously. The heels came to the ring first, and after some microphone time for Paul E. the crowd was in a frenzy having now been brought up to speed with what happened this past Monday Night. Huge main event, ton of freaking heat. Shocking result as Paul E.'s phone gets intercepted by Dundee who clobbers Eddie with it for the pin at 23:36.

Post Match- Some microphone work from the winners see's Dundee promising to win the gold from Gilbert next week, as the heels threw a fit on the floor.

Much like last night we open with Corey Maclin announcing that Brian Christopher is now the USWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion, he defends that title right here tonight against newcomer Crimson Dragon.

Your opening bout was billed locally as "Loser Leaves Town" as "Suicide Blonde" Chris Candido w/Tony Rumble went one on one with "Dixie Dynamo" Scott Armstrong. No love loss here at all, shockingly clean win however as Candido catches Scott with a right hand as he's set up on the top rope, superplex follows for the win at 12:28. Scott Armstrong must leave town!

Tag Team Action see's The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) make quick work of Bobby Knight & David Young, when Rogers pinned Young off the Rocket Launcher at 3:39.

Bam Bam Bigelow saw action next against Rose of the Bad Crew w/ Tony Rumble, easy win for the "Beast From The East"as he puts Rose away with a power bomb at 1:10.

USWA Tag Team Titles were on the line just before intermission as Maxx Payne & The Demolisher w/ Daryl Van Horne battled "Nightmare" Danny Davis & Marcus Bagwell. Played like much of their earlier bouts, but this time around it's Davis who gets pinned off a Demolition Decapitation at 13:38.

Intermission During intermission it's announce that next weeks Main Event will feature Bam Bam Bigelow challening for the USWA Heavyweight title against "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert + "Superstar" Bill Dundee & Jerry Lawler teaming to take on Billy Joe Travis & Bodyguard Rod!

Back from intermission with our second title match of the evening as Brian Christopher defends the USWA Jr. Heavyweight title against Crimson Dragon. Back and forth contest, that spills to the outside surprisingly resulting in a double count out at 14:48.

The Bruise Brothers (Ron & Don Harris) saw tag action next against Billy Joe Travis & Bodyguard Rod. Much like last night's contest with the Fantastics, Rod is protected as our finish see's Travis take the ride and be taken out with the H Bomb at 8:50.

Your semi final pit TV5 Champion: "Superstar" Bill Dundee against Wolfie D. Much like last night the unidentified man made a run in for the distraction, the difference here was that after being hit with the inverted DDT Dundee was able to get his foot in the ropes at 2. Wolfie then made the mistake of aruging with the official, which allowed Dundee to recover and eventual hit the Bomb's Away for the victory at 10:32.

Main Event: Jerry "The King" Lawler teamed with Koko B. Ware to take on the duo of USWA Heavyweight Champion: "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol w/ Paul E. Dangerously. Again Paul E. gets some microphone time before the faces are out to re-introduce himself and get some heat. Solid main event, not as good as Lawler/Dundee from the night before of course, but still good. After clobbering Lawler with the phone behind the officials back, the Paul E. lead heel team is able to get Koko alone and hit him with the Double hot shot for the victory at 25:11.

Post Match-King got some microphone time after the bout promising that this thing between them is FAR from over.

Wonder who Wolfie D has employed. Great match from Candido and Christopher. Payne and the Demolisher are certainly fighting champs. The Bruise Brothers and The Fantastics. That's real tough competition. That phone from Dangerously is something for Gilbert and Idol to live for and die for. Lawler needs to stay with Dundee for now.

Really great set of cards.

Shocked to see Dundee pin Gilbert. Hope to see that get mentioned on TV. Dundee would be a good legit challenger for Gilbert soon. Dangerously, Idol, and Gilbert are a force to be reckoned with and I don't see them taking Dundee pinning Gilbert lightly. I like your use of Ware here as he seems more important then he was IRL at this time.

The Armstrongs in the USWA are dropping like flies.

Bam Bam is looking fantastic on this road to his title match. I really don't want to bet against him.

The Bruise Brothers continue to look threatening. There's only so long that Van Horne can keep interfering.

On the other hand, the Fantastics look to be on fire. I would like to see a match between the two teams.

I'm going to love every match of the Candido/Christopher feud. There's just so much you can do with them.

I'm super enjoying the USWA thus far. You are putting together an awesome Dangerous Alliance. I love the fact that you are piecing together Lawler's most dangerous foes.

Gilbert dropping a fall won't be mentioned on TV, at least not the TV I'm posting. Evansville, Knoxville, & Louiseville all got their own individually cut feeds that hyped their weekly show as opposed to the Mid South Coliseum show. This was done via VTR's put in place of many of the "live" interviews (the show only aired "Live" in Memphis). I'm not putting up 4 TVs haha. I did mention the next weeks main event during intermission however, which is Dundee challenging for the USWA Heavyweight title, thus the fall being dropped to bring back Dundee/Gilbert in 7 days.

Nice pair of house shows on the travel curcuit. Bam Bam is picking up steam. Looking forward to him getting in a big program, if he hasn't already as I am behind on a couple of shows and more than likely reading this out of order.

Wolfie D with his new mystery partner is on a fun run. I look forward to what they are bringing to the table.

Bobby Knight is Mo, right? Seeing Koko hitting the Ghostbuster on him would be a sight.

You have a real good handle on the pecking order and the Memphis style as well as a very suitable roster to make this all happen. So far, it has all been enjoyable and looking forward to what is to come.

Bobby Knight=Mo. Koko getting him up is pretty impressive, but you have to bare in mind that by 1992 Koko was a chunky bastard himself, haha.

Another great round of shows, man. I've said it before, but I seriously enjoy the way you treat each town to its own individual format with regards to lineups, rematches, etc. This way, each town is sort of getting its own tour, custom-built for the area. It's a nice touch that feels just realistic enough to work really well. Kudos for that.

Still liking the way you handle the announcements during intermission & stuff also. I'm not sure why so many fantasy promoters are hesitant to have a guy pick up a freaking microphone at a live event, because it went down that way ALL the time in real life. Nothing wrong with it. There's no forbidden rule that says you can't have a guy work in a little promo here & there at the house shows. Very believable, good stuff there.

Bam Bam Bigelow is a southbound freight train of freaking momentum right now! I'm digging that. Hope to see him excel & possibly thrive in this area. With so much stuff surrounding Lawler at the top of the card, he is precisely what the region needs to spice things up a bit & take some of the focus away from being "all Jerry, all the time."

On the other hand, I'm really beginning to warm up to this version of the Dangerously Alliance. Piecing together the most dangerous & despised foes of Jerry Lawler is a fantastic premise. Crossing my fingers that you keep that as part of the theme. I'm all for teasing new members & stuff, but it becomes diluted & watered down if you go all New World Order on the thing & just start bringing people into the faction for the hell of it. I like that - at its core - it's about the guys who have done the most damage to the King. Nice job thus far.

Curious about the identity of the guy who ran in on the Wolfie D matches. I'll be tuning into TV soon to see what that's all about. Hoping it's not a bodyguard situation, because that would sort of take some luster away from the Travis & Rod situation. If I know you though, then you're selective about who you bring in to partner up with Wolfie. It's going to be someone that could make waves in Memphis, I'm sure. Eager to find out though.

You're definitely keeping the tag & junior heavy divisions exciting. Plenty of title defenses all around. Placing two baby face combos near the top as challengers sets the stage for a wide variety of matches. Plus, you're keeping your heel tag champs strong in the process. Fine job of walking that line & maintaining that balance. Keeps us coming back to see what's next.

Christopher is off to a strong start as the junior champ. Liking that. His series with Candido will always make for entertaining performances. This Crimson Dragon character has caught my interest though. The fact that he didn't take the fall (and turn out to be a completely generic jobber) in Louisville took me by surprise. Then the fact that he could hang with Brian & go to a draw double count-out really shocked me. So you've peaked my interest. Curious to find out if he's an American worker or an actual Japanese wrestler under the hood.

Beyond that, it's a nice tip of the hat to real life Memphis. They were forever doing this sort of thing. In the early nineties, we had The Warrior, The Spirit of America, and all those other ripoff gimmicks running around town. So this guy playing dress-up like Kabuki is nothing new to the area, for sure.

Thumbs up to these shows, man. As usual, you deliver the goods & leave me craving more. Can't wait to check out television and everything next.

At it's core the DA is all about destroying the King, BUT the next few (there are three of 'em in total coming on board within the next few months/weeks whenever I get around to it haha) don't necessarily have bad blood with the King per say...well not entirely. I've got a good idea on how I want this thing to play out, and an end game in mind too, or close to it at least. They'll be a lot of twist and turns along the way I assure you that.
