Over the years FCW has been the starting point for superstars Lex Luger, Dusty Rhodes and the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ricky Steamboat. Now there is a new group of superstars trying to do the same thing. Here are a few storyline you need to know.
Florida heavyweight title picture
The Florida Heavyweight Champion is The Nightstalker W/ DDP. He has rolled through everybody. Dustin Rhodes won a battle royal to become the #1 contender.
Florida tagteam title picture Friend/ Foe team of Jerry Lynn & The Lighting Kid are the Florida Tagteam Champions
There are a bunch of tagteams that are gunning for them. Harlem Heat are the # 1 contenders
The Young Lions Title. This title is for the young wrestlers who has only been in wrestling for 2 years or less. In the next couple of weeks there will be a tournament to crown the first champion.
Other news Over the last few weeks on T.V. Promo saying they will be a Stunning Change to FCW. Next week that change is coming!!!! Also Chris Chavis calls out Vinnie Vegas W/DDP
See you next week for FCW where the future is now!!!!

Good stuff. Although I'm not gonna lie I was hoping for you to bust out the Vinny Vegas character for Kevin Nash. The young lion's tournament is a neat concept man, should be interesting to see how you apply it. A "Stunning" debut you say?

I like your introduction at the beginning. Gives the promotion some prestige.
The Night Stalker shocked me as your first champion but I don't think he will be for very long.
I like Dustin Rhodes as your #1 Contender because he was ON FIRE in '92.
I think the Young Lions concept will benefit you greatly IF done correctly.
I also really like Lynn and the Kid as Tag Team Champions and I am glued for the "Stunning" change to FCW.

A good start to Florida. Agree with Chief on Nightstalker being the champion for very long or even Lynn/Kid as the tag champs being able to hold on to their titles.
Looking forward to the stunning changes in Florida. Good stuff.

I like what I see thus far. You've got the right building blocks for the bigger picture. Page is a tremendous mouthpiece & heat magnet, but I can't see the Nightstalker staying on top for too long. Dustin Rhodes is a premiere player, in my eyes. The guy had all the tools & resources to be a very valuable commodity to the pro wrestling industry. He was really getting the hang of things around this time, so I'm especially anxious to see him go to work here. Hope to see him thrive. He's truly the sort of talent that you could build an entire territory around. Fingers crossed for that!
I dig the name-dropping with Lex, Dusty, and Steamboat. It's a nice touch. Really enhances the idea of heritage & lineage for your promotion. By all means, keep that sort of stuff alive & well in this area. It's available to you, so use it.
Lynn & the Kid as friendly foes? I'm always on board for that angle. Sure, sometimes it's terrible. But when it's done right, it's awesome. Loads of potential in two partners who can get along, but also have different morale codes at the end of every day. Eager to watch this story play out.
Agreed on the point about Kevin Nash though. Giving him the Vinnie Vegas or even the Diesel character would go a long way in coloring him up a bit. Nash as just Nash seems a little bland for 1992. And, when you consider that this is the Florida scene, you'd think something like the Vegas character could really stand out as something cool here.

If WCW would have been allowed to call him Diesel, I'm sure he wouldn't have ever used his real name.

The Night stalker is certainly a unique champ to start out with but I am sure Dustin will take care of it. Lynn and the Kid will be fun to watch. I just hope it will be for a long time. The Young Lions Title will be a real drawing card to fill those sheets. Vegas will be pushed by Chavis, who was a good young talent, at this point.
Great start.

What happens with the Young Lions Title once a rookie reaches 2 years of activity though? Does the belt get vacated? Whether it ever comes into play or not, just a ruling or announcement of some sort would close the gap in that logic for us readers.
