The scene opens in front of a ECW backdrop. Standing before this is none other than the man himself, Hulk HoganHH : The word's out on the street, brutha. Everyone in the world is wondering why the Hulk is coming to ECW and I'm here to tell you why. You see, brutha. I've dominated the scene wherever I've gone and there isn't much that the Hulkster hasn't accomplished in his career. However, when I noticed that a particular someone had signed with ECW, I seen that I had to get a piece of this action. The man I'm talking about is Shane Douglas. Shane, you've been heard talking alot of crap about a lot of people as of late and I'm here to teach you some respect. Get ready, Shane, because whatcha goin' do when the largest arms in the world runs wild on you. - switch - KS : ECW!! ECW!! ECW!! - switch - ECW. This is the time and this is the place. I've came here for one reason. You see, I ain't never been one to play it safe. I got into this business to fight and to bleed and I'm so happy that I'm finally somewhere where all my competition has the same things on their minds. - Scene fades to black -

An interesting premise to start. Using a baseball analogy, you hit a triple ... the one guy you needed to close with was Shane!
With Hawk and Sullivan featured here, can't wait to see where they all fit in the pecking order.

Wait so Hogan's just gonna be typical Hogan here as opposed to Hollywood or something edgy? Curious as to how you play it in front of an actual Philadelphia crowd. If the idea here is Shane as a typical heel Vs Hogan, it's not gonna work, at least for me.

Color me interested. You are going to have to do a heck of a job to get me into buying Hulk Hogan being apart of ECW.
Hawk getting wild is going to be great. It's funny to see him and Animal not on the same roster.
I'm excited to see where you go with this.

Wow. Well this was a bold freaking start, to say the least. Agreed on the points about Hogan's participation in this version of ECW. Playing the Hulkster routine in front of a rabid Philly crowd is more than enough to get me to tune into your first card though. That's for sure. Thumbs up for taking the risk. I'm seriously eager to see what you do with it.
Hogan targeting Shane is a great premise for an angle. Infusing their grudge with the real life Douglas/Flair element is a cool freaking concept, to be honest. At least, that's the vibe I got from things here. Should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to your presentation of everything. Crowd reactions alone should be worth watching.
Hawk fits the area like a glove. His run in real life was hampered by a lot of things, but he could have really thrived in this environment. I like that you're keeping him in traditional Road Warrior mode to start. This could turn into a hot run for him yet.
It's absolutely awesome to see you employ the Pulp Fiction style quick clips right away. It's easily one of my favorite aspects of the actual ECW product, so it's great to see them kept around as a staple of the programs. They're really such a resourceful tool. Can't wait to see this promotion get off the ground.

Douglas making the real life comments that he did and Hogan taking offense could be a Lawler-Dreamer effect that could work. Sullivan and his demons could thrive in WCW. Hawk wild on his own? Awesome!
Great tease! You got me, bud.
