Kick Ass Wrestling
Live from the WLMT-TV 30 Studios
7/22/1992
1 am
Memphis, Tennessee
It's generic, it's cheesy ... IT'S THE KICK ASS WRESTLING LOGO EXPLODING ONTO THE SCREEN. As that all goes away, we are inside a television studio with host David Jett.
David Jett: "Good morning wrestling fans and welcome to Kick Wrestling. The last couple of weeks here at WLMT Channel 30, we've been coming to you for a full sixty minutes and for that, we thank you WLMT but today, we go back to our thirty minute programming. Two big matches today with a tag match that will determine our second finalist for the KAW Tag Team titles. Also, a Battle Royale to determine the participants for our KAW Heavyweight Title match ..."
Bert Prentice walks out from the back to a good cheer.
David Jett: "Thank you for joining us, Bert."
Bert Prentice: "Glad to be here, David. First off, I'd like to make a promise to all our fans out there to get this program back to one hour long ... in the meantime, we push forward with the time we have available. Now, tonight we have two matches that will determine our finalists for TWO title matches for the upcoming July 28th show in the Elma Roane Fieldhouse on the University of Memphis Campus. ..."
The Snowman, Brickhouse Brown and Reggie Bennett saunter out to the set with huge smiles on their faces.
Brickhouse Brown: "OHHHHH ... you hear that Snowman, we got ourselves a Battle Royale to get ready for ..."
The Snowman: "Bert Prentice, you'd do yourself a favor and just hand that Heavyweight belt over to us because you know, these people all know that me or Brickhouse got this."
Reggie Bennett steps forward and holds her hand out for the belt while Prentice shakes his head no.
Bert Prentice: "You've come in here and made your statement. Against better judgement, I gave you and Brickhouse a match against the Kick BUT and I repeat this ... BUT the two of you are not, never were and never will be wrestling here in KAW!"
A cheer goes up as The Kick Ass Icons come out from the back. Jamie Dundee, a bandage on his head, JC Fargo and the Midget are lead by a neckbrace wearing Kevin Lawler.
Kevin Lawler: "Bert, the three of us asked you to give these two jokers a match against the Kick Icons for the simple fact that our relatives never backed away from a challenge and neither will we. Never. Now, Brickhouse and Snowman think they've got what it takes to be the champion here ... well, boys, I think you're getting a little ahead of yourselves because you have to get through Jamie and JC first."
The Snowman: "Don't you worry about that, boy and when we win, we want matches here. We'll show all of you who the superstars are."
Kevin Lawler: "Bert, when we win, all three of them are gone for the KAW. GONE ... do you hear that, Snowman. And IF they win, Bert, you give them the contracts they want because we'll have more chances to beat their !

We come back and Jett sends us to the ring for our first match.
Scotty the Body & Scott Studd versus Todd Morton & Jackie Fulton
Lots on the line here with the winner advancing to the title match and a shot at the Tennessee Volunteers. Things start off with a handshake between the two teams before settling into the two face teams going at it. Rookie Scott Studd has a good start but the tag specialists soon find themselves in control of the match with an isolation of their opponent. Fans are split as The Body does his best to rally his partner when the Tennessee Volunteers make their way out to the ring. The Vols are enough of a distraction to allow Studd to escape and get The Body into the match. The Body rallies his team but is rolled up out of nowhere by Fulton for a two count but Steve Doll is able to get Scotty's leg on the ropes to break up the pin attempt. We get a break in the action as Scotty explains to the ref while Doll denies any involvement. Fulton and Morton plead their case with the ref as referee All Hall explains he didn't see any interference and is ready for a restart. Scott Studd reaches in and tags himself into the match, drawing some words from Scotty. When Fulton turns back into the match, Studd is waiting for him and connects with a superkick! He hooks the leg and takes the match!
In the aftermath of the match, the two Scotty's have words while the Vols make their exit with Doll tapping his head while Reno Riggins pulls him away as Todd Morton is ready to give chase before we head into a commercial break with a slo-mo of Scott Studd hitting his superkick on Jackie Fulton!

We come back from the break and David Jett.
David Jett: "Next Saturday night at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse at the University of Memphis Campus, KAW with it's biggest show to date. The KAW Tag Title match between the Tennessee Volunteers and Scotty the Body and Scott Studd. Big Sid versus the Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant. Izzy and Reggie B. Fine in a match over Reggie B.'s fur coat. We've got Reggie Bennett stepping into the ring against Bert Prentice ..."
Jett is interrupted by an arm waving Alfonso Dantes spouting off machine-gun Spanish. Son Apolo Dantes is out trying to calm his father.
Apolo Dantes: "I am sorry. My father wants to know why I have no match?"
Before Jett can answer, Ken Timbs walks out to a solid cheer. There is some Spanish between Timbs and the two Dantes before some head nodding and a handshake.
Ken Timbs: "David, I think we can clear this up real quick. I offered a match between Apolo here and Ben Jordan that was to their liking with the best out of three falls."
The trio walks off, leaving Jett by himself.
David Jett: "Add that match to an already action packed card on top of today's match which will determine the two men who will battle it out for the KAW Heavyweight Championship. The last two men in today's Battle Royale will go on to the finals next week!"
Apolo Dantes, Ben Jordan, Chris Frazier, Doug Gilbert, Izzy, Ken Timbs, Kevin Kanady, Mike Samples, Rainbow Brown, Reggie B. Fine, Scott Taylor, the Turtle and the Professor Tony Falk
We've got all thirteen men in the ring along with referee Ed Rusk inside the ring and Al Hall on the outside. With the bell, we are underway! First man out is Apolo Dantes thanks to Reggie B. Fine who gives him the heave-ho at the bell, starting just a tad early. Ken Timbs and Ben Jordan team up against the trio of the Professor and his Falk U! Grads while Izzy and Mike Samples pair off. On the far side of the ring, Doug Gilbert is like a buzzsaw, hammering both Chris Frazier and Rainbow Brown. Reggie B. circles around the ring and does his best to avoid everyone.
Samples sends Izzy to the outside before heading towards Gilbert. Ben Jordan gets torn away from the Falk U! Grads by Reggie B., who starts in with right hands. Gilbert floors Rainbow Brown before clotheslining Chris Frazier over the top rope. Ben Jordan is out before Reggie B. goes at it with the Karate-wielding Turtle. The Falk U! contingent almost eliminate Ken Timbs before Doug Gilbert comes crashing into them. Kevin Kanady trades shots with Gilbert but is sent over the top. Falk and Taylor whip Gilbert across the ring and on the return, Gilbert knocks both to the mat ... and it is time for a commercial!

We come back to Reggie B. tossing Rainbow Brown from the ring by the seat of his pants. Mike Samples locks up with Ken Timbs while Falk and Taylor hammer away on Gilbert. Reggie B. finds himself confronted by the Turtle going through his Karate moves and mimics them himself until the Turtle starts flicking kicks out.
In the corner, Gilbert fights off elimination by Falk and Taylor who have his legs with several right hands. Falk is tossed next as Gilbert moves on. Gilbert grabs the Turtle from behind and runs him right into a big boot from Reggie B. before tossing him out of the ring. With murder in his eye, Gilbert turns on Reggie B. who comes in to high-five him. Seeing Gilbert coming towards him, Reggie B. takes the high road and slips between the ropes for the ring apron. With Gilbert moving off, Reggie taps his head but is sent to the floor thanks to a drop kick from Scott Taylor.
Four men left with Doug Gilbert, Ken Timbs, Mike Samples and Scott Taylor. Gilbert with a hand full of hair, rams Scott Taylor into the turnbuckle, knocking him silly while across the ring, Timbs and Samples continue to jockey for position along the ropes. Samples adjusts his postion, locks his arms and pops the hips, taking Timbs over with belly to belly suplex. Gilbert with forearms on Scott Taylor gets him to release his hold on the ropes, tossing him over to the outside. Samples pulls Timbs up and runs him out. Both Gilbert and Samples back away from the ropes before turning around and eyeballing each other as the ring bell sounds repeatedly as we have our two finalists for the KAW Heavyweight Title as the show goes off the air before the fireworks inside the ring go off!
