Emilio Azcárraga, the CEO of Televisa, comes out first. Azcarraga speaks first, announcing that starting next Friday night Televisa will begin featuring exciting high flying lucha libre action. Televisa has bought a 30% stake in the new company, Azcarraga introduces the new president of Asistencia Asesoría y Administración ….Antonio Pena! Pena’s first announcement is that AAA has purchased Arena Mexico and Arena Coliseo from the Lutteroth family. The second announcement is that AAA has reached an agreement with the Distrito Federal Box Y Lucha commission to use the Mexican National championships. Currently the Mexican National Trios championship, and the Distrito Federal Championship are both vacant, but there will be, tournaments for these titles soon. AAA will recognise Rayo de Jalisco Jr. as the Mexican National Heavyweight Champion, Blue Panther as the Mexican National Middleweight Champion, and Misterioso and Volador as the Mexican National Tag Team Champions. The four champions answer questions from the reporters. General things are said, how happy they are to be part of AAA. Then Cien Caras comes out of the crowd to challenge Rayo de Jalisco. Pena has Caras removed, saying that he’s not part of the AAA roster currently. Pena ends the press conference.
